    MNF: Chargers @ Chiefs

A lot of close games and some upsets so far in week 1. Chargers have the 4th easiest schedule this year I believe so hopefully there won't be any slow starts like the past few seasons. The closer time gets to this game the more I keep getting worried about the LT position so I'm skeptical but, I'm pretty confident SD chalks up a win. Dombroski was great in pre-season but, pre-season is well...pre-season but, hopefully he turns out to be solid.

Definitely interested in seeing some of KC's rookies Berry and McCluster.

Merriman is more than likely out for this week.

If it makes you feel any better Tamba Hali has been banged up and probably won't be 100%.

Dombroski went up against good competition in the pre-season like Peppers and faced Ware for almost 2 quarters if I'm not mistaken. He seemed to hold his own quite well so I have some confidence in the guy starting.

But....it's the pre-season and you never know until the real season starts.

Man, our boss letting us off early so he can go home and watch the Chiefs game...this better be a good game, since it's taking money from me.

Chances are you might be highly disappointed. I'm not saying the Chargers are going to destroy the Chiefs but, last year both games where they faced each other wasn't even close. It's a new year though, with new faces so maybe it'll be a good game but, if it is the Chargers more than likely have some serious issues or just another slow start to the season.

I have no idea why this was chosen to be the 2nd MNF game. I probably won't even watch it. Hopefully KC surprises me though.

San Diego's gonna win I think, KC is pretty bad. They'll be improved with Berry out there, but guys like Cassell aren't that good. Chargers win and Matthews will look good out there.

I've been telling folks around here in KC, that they need another QB..Cassell is not the answer and plus they o-line sucks

Arrowhead stadium, strange things happen and I'm sure it'll be electric there.

Apparently there are already a ton of people out there tailgating. There is a Royals game at 2:00 and it sounds like many people are making a day of it.

Romeo Crennel makes this defense 10 times better than what it was last year, IMO. If we get blown out, I will be massively disappointed.

I still think the Chargers will win, though. I'll say 19-17 San Diego.

This. Arrowhead is generally not kind to the Chargers.

Even if Cassel isn't a great QB, I think he's decent enough that if the O-Line can hold up, he can do some damage with a healthy Dwayne Bowe, Chris Chambers, Jamaal Charles, Thomas Jones, and Dexter McCluster (although it looks like McCluster is gonna be used very sparingly if at all tonight cuz he's sick)

Didn't seem to phase them last year, although some freakish home-field combination of Arrowhead, Lambeau, and Yankees Stadium couldn't have helped the Chiefs last season.
