Suffered a stroke but still play Madden (sort of)

In may of this year my world changed, I suffered a stoke effecting the right side of my body. I thought this would take away my love for playing madden, but since I have use of my left hand and I set the game to coach mode and play calling to beginner and let the computer take control. So far I have had some pretty good games, but I am using 10, if you're interested I use simulation to handle field goals, punts and kick offs.
My question to the community is with madden 11 if I decide to buy is coach mode the same as 10? and do they still have simulation in it.

Thanks for your help and I hope that those with handicaps can find some way to enjoy this to, I was lucky.

Lots of credit to you and nothing but the best...now that I am getting into my 40's and still gaming I often wonder how I would adjust if something happened to me, since I have had a love of gaming since I was a teen.....as far as coach mode i beleive its the same as 10 , at least as far as I could tell.....take care my friend.

That's one of my fears. To be not be able to play video games. But us gamers have a way of adapting. More power to you.

Isn't there a One-Button Mode in NCAA 11? I'm not really sure what it is.

Thanks guys for making this easier, I look into ways to play most of sports titles some of them i just watch the cpu play itself.
I pray that this doesn't happen too you, but I'm excercising and gaining stregnth. I hope to get the use of my right hand and arm so I can once again join a online league.

              God bless everyone.

Dude, I'm sure that with only the use of half of your body, you would still whoop my butt in an online league game!

Sorry about you having a stroke, but how is Madden the first thing you thought about when you had the stroke?

It wasn't, my family was and getting quality medical care, when you are released from the hospital it's about what can you do for yourself like brushing your teeth and washing your body.
Believe me video games was the least of my problems, I just started playing again as my strength began to return and I started to learn to how to do things again. It also part of the rehab program to try and enjoy things that you use to do before you had the stroke. Life does not end if you survive a stroke or heart attack it makes you stronger and my love of playing video games is just a piece of getting back to normal or as close to it.

Keep working hard at rehab and hopefully you will recover. If that doesn't happen then there are other solutions.

Bro aint nothing wrong with you wanting to play...any true gamer will always play

My aunt had cancer and it NEVER stoped her from doing the things she loved. Never let weak people (fhhs63) discourage you...because those are people who would roll over and give up given the same fate.
