Re: NBA 2K11 Demo Available Now, Impressions and Discussion Here (360,PS3)
Why do people keep saying the controls are slow, no i think your hands are slow. Ive been able to do any move i wanted to with ease. I think some people are kind of mad because they cant grasp the new controls as easy as others.Comment

I have blocked/altered a number of KG's fadeaways, yet he also has got the best of the match up quite a bit of times. Just work on the timing and direction you jump toHUGE PROBLEM...post up into a fadeaway jumper is impossible to defend...it will be a major cheese move if not addressed...the CPU has posted me up and made every turn around jumper with my hand in its face...i have yet to see the CPU miss a post up turn around jumper...all shots were closely contested.Comment

Dunno man I've blocked some of KG's and PPs fadeaways
Guys... lay off jamming on the stick
Lay off the RT as well... only use it for a burst not to just run around like a chicken
Its a learning curveComment

dont see what the hype with this game is. you dont have full control of your player like they claim and the graphics are just like live. they look bad far away then when zoomed in the graphics look good.Comment

post move defense is the same it was in 2k10. DONT JUMP use the shot stick to defend which hand you think the ball will be released fromComment

Re: NBA 2K11 Demo Available Now, Impressions and Discussion Here (360,PS3)
body contact when dribbling is a great thing for 2k IMO especially online and against kobe-lebron-wade abusers. even in real life u cant bully your way where ever u want, in real you will get called for charging alot. now obviously in the video game world charging is handled differently than real life so to counter that aspect of the game they have to basically make long momentum animations in order for the user to choose a different pathi have to say many animations still feel delayed and not responsive...pass animations for example sometimes take too long for the player to pass after hitting the button.
body contact when dribbling still feels like suction...you get stuck to the defender and can't break out of it...i don't care who says you can break out of contact animations...you can't.Comment

I've played the demo on 360 and PS3 the lighting on the PS3 is brighter than 360, gameplay is the same on both systems except I always able to make more with Kobe and get to the rim slightly easier on the PS3 I prefer sports games on the 360 though, and the sound was slightly better on PS3. Its a good demo but seems more like a teaser since u can only play 4 min. with only the Lakers though still a first day purchase no matter what.Comment
