What happened to the High Step?

I remember a few years back NCAA had an AWESOME high stepping animation where you held L2 and pulled the right stick in different directions for different maneuvers and you could do it at any point on the field!! It was great i remember intercepting a pass and breaking right into a high step like Deion Sanders in front of the offense before breaking down to make a move. High step now is dumbed down and weak. That is such a signature move by players and they do it all over the field not just inside the 10 yard line.

Also bring back ENDZONE celebration selections!!!

Well, it's unsportmanlike conduct when nobody is around, but you still see guys doing it when being tackled from behind, just not that a gaudy, show-off sort of way.

To answer the original question, though, it seems that the game has removed instances of unsportsmanlike conduct on purpose. In the new (360 and PS3) version, they seem to have just never added these things in, but even in the old version (PS2) it was taken out several years ago. Perhaps the NCAA put pressure on EA to remove blatant unsportsmanship, similar to how the fans charging the field was removed.

You can pull back on the right stick to high step. Also after you break away if you hold the circle (PS3) button they will show boat as they run into the end zone.
