Also you don't have to cross people all day to score you can literally score by just rotating the ball to the right person and using screens and picks
yes i have played ball irl but thats not the problem or the point. its moving the sticks the right way to get the player to do what i want them to do

and i never said i have problems scoring. I win every game i have played on the demo. I just want to learn how to fully utilize iso-motion

I'm playing the demo right now and i just bounce the ball left to the right then back to my left i saw ray ray start to go left so he was biting so i brought it tougher to the right like i was going to drive then cut back giving me seperation. 1) The framerate, graphical detail, and animation transitions are the smoothest I have EVER seen in a sports video game. Absolutely sensational.

        2) The new controls are spot on--after you work to figure out the timing and usage maneuvers. HINT: It is very sensitive using L2 trigger dribbling controls. Hammering away left and right and half-circles will get you nowhere. You will look jagged and sluggish. IF, you master timing and execution and move the Lstick deliberately you will get better results.

        3) Shooting jumpers off the dribble using the shot stick is absolutely incredible this year. I have NEVER liked using Kobe Bryant in 2K (particularly 2k9 and 2k10..and not because Lebron James is my favorite player THOUGH i know Kobe is better-for now). His jumper didn't tickle the twine like it should and doing his signature moves didn't flow well. NOW?!?!? OH MY GOD. The Black Mamba is finally the MONSTER he should be. And will be and absolute nightmare to defend.

        4) The animations are sensational. Wondrous to behold. Paul Pierce's jumpshot (PHOTOREALISTIC), Rando's one-handed ball fake, KG's shimmy pull up mid and PAU GASOL'S BIG ARSE HEAD! lol ...are all some of the most beautiful things I have ever seen in a game. Everytime I saw these things or variations from different players I had a BIG SMILE on my face.

        5) People saying it has an NBA LIVE feel to it need to realize the truth here: Mike Wang was the lead designer for 2KSports for years. He left 2k last year and went to EA Sports and helped them turn NBA Live from completely abysmal to oustandingly mediocre but fun. Now he's back at 2kSports were he "belongs". That's a quote from him. His heart is always with 2k. His own words. So anything you think feels like Live actually feels like Mike Wang because Live didn't feel that way before he got there last year. And won't feel that way ever again. Bet on it.

        6) THE PRESENTATION IS AMAZING!!! This is only the demo and player introduction pics on the load screen are fantastic!!! The shot of the arena? Fabulous. The "galaxy stars" backgrounds on menus, photos, statlines, and in game subs are simply beautiful. The sound is spot on. AND THEY HAVE A HALFTIME SHOW IN THE FULL GAME.

        7) We haven't even fell in love with the Jordan modes yet. OR Played with King James and Dewayne Wade in Miami. Or checked out the new robust My Player and signed endorsement deals.

        8) Can you imagine how incredible the full game is going to be? Just.....WOW! lol It's going to be absurd.

        9) NBA2K11 will be the best basketball videogame ever made. MARK MY WORDS. Every b-ball game will be judged on this bar 2K has just set. Bravo 2K Sports! Bravo! In the words of Jay-Z: "Clap for 'em, clap for 'em"....
Fam u said everything that I wuz goin to say about it. I played Live lasted yr & only got bcuz I wanted more control over my player than canned animations in 2k. The monent I played the demo, as LeBronistheKing watched me, I fully understood how to use Iso-motion. Wang is the reason for all of this & I feel its da greatest thing to happen for 2k. Wnag changed da game of canned animations to being able to break out of any move(the right way mind u, not just when u think it should).

Please ppl take the time to learn, breakdown, & enjoy all the new additions to the game. Games are meant to change not to stay da same so please ppl approuch 2k11 as a whole new monster & not what we're used to.

I haven't played any basketball games in awhile. Will the retail version have player lock? I can't stand all this auto-switching, I just want to play one guy. Will that be possible?

bro i dont think u fully understand what we are trying to say. its not about knowing what to do because we know what we want to do.

the problem is taking the ideas in our heads on what to do and inputing them into the controls

With what you explained i about going left, stepping back and all that i would end up turning around and running backwards instead of stepping back. its things like that that we are talking about

This is the move I've been trying to pull of with KB but can't seem to. Its patented Jordan and is one of KB's go to moves when he has to create space for his fadeaway. Very simple, yet very effective. They can't have missed putting it in the game

Benn playing and watching and playing basketball since i was 10 which makes that 25 years of watching and playing "Son". I know how to pull off the moves the problem is it always does not do it when i want consistantly. 2k9 was the smoothest iso controls of this series hands down

well congrats. you are one of the ones that has iso motion down but it has nothing do with playing basketball irl.

we all try to respond like we would in a real game unless you are a cheeser but some just cant get the player to do what they want with the sticks

This is one beautiful game. Just did a move with Kobe, near the left hash, sizing up Allen. Gasol comes to screen to Kobe's right. Faked toward it, KG went to hedge, crossed over and instead went left. Allen was caught in the screen and KG was trying to recover.

But too late. I went into a momentum pullup right underneath the arc with plenty of space. Swish.

So beautiful and smooth, I just had to crack a smile. So many moments like this, in only a demo.

But again, I wouldn't say movement is 100% responsive, but they've removed all the WTF movements and you can now do exactly what you want. Took me a min to find out how to do the various spins, like the tight quick one.

And I just gotta say again, it feels so good to shoot. The post moves are quicker too. Just did a quick dropstep with Artest, guarded by Rondo in the low block. Strong-armed him easy and laid it in.

Oh yeah, I actually had the CPU do one of those wrap-around passes on me with Rondo, I jumped on his drive with Bynum, and he threw it around my back to Pierce in the corner. Looked nice, and dynamic. He actually caught me with that "Dream shimmy shake" thing he does where he spins back and does the lil one handed shot lol.

KG is still giving me the business. Feeling helpless against him. The CPU seems more dynamic, they'll pull up right on you, or if you get a big on Paul or Rondo, they'll shake you and drive right past.

I like the shot contests. Much less J's being blocked, just forcing misses.

Crazy how this game went from almost unplayable (2K10 for me personally, due to the control/movement issues) to being this smooth and responsive.

                          Fallout 4

Wife: "Of course he's going out to get his 2K game at 12am, like he can't wait til tomorrow."
Wife's mom: "Be grateful that's what he's running out at midnight for."

One thing you'll learn with Isomotion.

Hesitation dribbles may be the cause of many peoples troubles.. Hesitation is a quick tap of the LEFT TRIGGER. Size Ups are done when you hold the LEFT trigger and left go. The hesitation dribble is the one thats a bit slow and drawn out. Many people may be triggering that and not even know it.

MAKE YOUR TRIGGER PRESSES WITH PURPOSE.

A quick HOLD of the left trigger and sizeup, and letting go of the trigger is ALMOST identical to a HESITATION tap.

Ever since keeping away from the hesitation 90% of the time, I've having a lot more success with basic cross overs and quick action size up motions. The hesitation is the anchor in the system messing up the flow.

2k had the best controls not the smoothest animations were way choppy , secondly 2k9's controls were more at a random just flicking the stick you didn't do what you wanted in your head you did what got you by yuor defender 2k9 only had two ways of gaining seperation a cross over that locked you in a two player animation that helped you gain space for half a second and the step back that was it the game didn't put you in full control if just gave you animations that helped you get by your defender and that was it. In 2k11 the controls are how you responded from the left and to the right there completely yours

I'm still trying figure that one out without picking up the dribble. You been able to do this move with KB?
                                I haven't been able to:
