This is definitely the best it's ever felt to block shots as a user in any bball game. When you time it perfectly and you know you've timed it right and anticipate the huge swat that's coming is an awesome feeling. You can see it developing just like IRL, you're like "oooh, if he tries to take this shot he is ****ed!" lol.

Can't wait to patrol the lane with Ewing get some payback on Pippen and Jordan for all those posterizations.

Well I guess thats as those to that move as we're going to get. He does that bounce a fair amount of time, but he usually operates like he did in that vid.

The AI is damn near perfect in this game. I'm giddy over here. This will be the first NBA2K game in ages that I'm going to LOVE playing against the CPU.

I've played somewhere near 40 games of the demo and can't think of a single CPU thing that stood out in a bad way. No questionable shots (like Rondo or Perkins jacking jumpers), wild dunks or cheese. I mean it's literally like watching/playing against the real-life Celtics. Brilliant work, 2K.

I agree, blocking feels very good.

I am really loving what they've done with the arena sounds this year. Having played the demo more and analyzed the videos it seems they captured the authentic sounds(organ music, defensive chants, misc sounds) of each stadium. I have been waiting for this for years. The Staples Center and Madison Square Garden sound very true to life. I can see myself playing many a game with no announcing.

Anybody gotten anyone injured yet? Sorry if someone has i was to lazy to read the rest of the 100 something pages . Right at the start of the game allen takes a open 3, misses and kobe goes for the rebound and on the way down he falls and is injured (holding his knee I think), I thought Matt Barnes or Shannon Brown would come in. Steve Blake came in instead -.-

Why are the demo graphics so terrible?

I played the 2k10 demo then the 2k11 demo back to bakc and wow....the 2k11 demo looks terrible?

                  Has this been addressed?

                  Im on ps3. Thanks.

I've been hearing a lot of people lately complain about the graphics on the PS3.

The PS3 demo is indeed a little rough visually upon close inspection. It's not god awful, but I can't even make out the names on the back of the jerseys and I'm playing on a 62inch tv?!? There are noticeable jaggies and some fuzziness. Perhaps that is due to the porting issue? It is almost like it is out of focus sometimes? Is this what to expect in the final build? This would be my first NBA2K purchase on PS3, so I guess I got nothing to base their history on PS3, since I played them previously on the 360? I am a tad nervous, but I expect the quality of the final build to always be an upgrade from demo's. I know in the past that rule of thumb has generally held true (on 360 as well)?

Indeed!!! I was playing earlier and Perkins (CPU) got called for an over the back foul going for a rebound! Add another thing to the "never seen that's" in a videogame.

I am tempted to download the PS3 version to see the difference. Many have complained about that version.
