This is one of the funniest commercials ive seen for a game. Other than the Joe Mauer, MLB the Show commercial, i really liked this one because you get to see the pernsonality and acting skills of these players. Rose cooking was hilarious with his comments, "keep talking and you aint getting none" and even Rondo actually being likeable. 2k is getting it right from the game all the way down to the commericals.

So many great one liners in that commercial...

"Come on man. Leave Cleveland Alone"
"Tell Mama Rondo that MJ is dropping 63 on the '86 Celtics, Again." "Not with you playing"
"Can't eat sushi in Utah brother, land locked"
"I'm making onion rings. Keep talking and ya'll aint gonna get none"

Uhh, funny yet not so funny. The players, for the most part, seemed too canned and their line deliveries were pretty stiff and corny. Rondo was the funniest to me. He seemed the most natural and his opening line with him just standing out on the balcony was just hilarious to me with him knocking on the sliding door/window. It was just one of those, "Where the eff did he come from??" type moments. It was like he came out of nowhere. Ha.
Good attempt. Just not that funny to me. Now, back to some more demo..
Just cuz you pour syrup on ish....

Re: NBA 2K11 Video: MJ's Greatest Moments Commercial

Is the reference to slam dunk comp a hint of some sort?

I hope so, reliving the battle between MJ and 'nique would be out of this world especially if it was part of the Allstar weekend.....
...we held several meetings to discuss the future of the franchise. After going through those meetings, it became very clear that the vision I had for the game was different from where the leadership wanted to take it. I parted ways with EA shortly after...

LOL @ D.Rose..so random. Dude is baking all types of cakes and pies...basting turkeys

Definitely up there with my top 5. Tracy Morgan still reigns supreme.

You guys talkin about 2K going all out this year, well off course they are.

As soon as MJ agreed to be in the game his first words probably were:
"You better be damn sure to make this the best sports game of all time! I'm in it!"

Funny commercial. Since I was at work, I read what they said before I heard them, and their lines were funnier on paper. They're obviously not professional actors and their delivery was a little stilted, but they did a pretty good job for the most part. Josh Smith's one liner about sushi in Utah was great.
