    Pulling off sig moves...

Okay, before you all start toasting me for being such an idiot, i'm a complete newbie to 2K's basketball game. I've always stayed true to EAs Live, but this year, with MJ, and all the rest, I couldn't not sleep around with 2Ks fine *** mistress

Anyways, i've been toying around with the demo, and i'm really impressed.
However, for the life of me I just can't pull off Kobes signature move. I've watched the control video, but it's for the 360, so no help there...

i cant pull em off either. looking at the "control" video, it seems like damn near every move is LT + the same LS command

      Did you guys try these?

      <table width="100%" border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tbody><tr><tr><td style="background-image: url(&quot;/vBulletin/images/quotes/04.gif&quot; width: 37px; height: 1px;" width="37">
      </td> <td style="background-image: url(&quot;/vBulletin/images/quotes/00.gif&quot; width: 100%; height: 1px;" width="100%">
"Anyone try the "flick flick" moves yet? They're some of my favorite shots.

Hold LT, flick the Shot Stick and let it return to neutral (like a pumpfake), then flick and hold it again before the pumpfake ends. You get different shots depending on your movement, facing, distance, and direction of your flicks.

If you're having trouble getting your passes picked, Total Control Passing will allow you to move your receivers around wherever you want. Unfortunately, it's disabled by default so you'll have to enable it when you pick up the full version. Personally, I can't play without it.

Too bad you guys can't change the diff. and game style... it changes the experience pretty drastically."

      </td></tr></tr></tbody></table>

That hasn't really got anything to do with Signature shots though...
In the video it says to hold the LT, which I presume is L2 for the PS3, and I think it also says to press one of the face buttons???

        I don't know, i'm lost haha

I think one of the problems with people learning the controls is because of the camera angle.

I'm assuming the OP is talking about kobes signature fade in the post? If so, the above "flick flick" method is exactly how I pull it off. It was just a quick combo of flicking the stick one way then the shot stick away from the basket. Hope that helps.

are you guys kidding? Playing on Broadcast gives you the most realistic experience.. Just play around and get used to it rather than changing the view.

Hopefully when the full game comes out we'll be able to sort out the controls and use them correctly. I am barely getting the hang of using LT and the left analog stick to dribble.

The signature gather (Y on 360 depending on your position/dribble) is the ball fake/halfspin turnaround thing -- I was killing poor Ray with it all night last night...

Me too, Kobe be on beast mode with his sig gather then a fadeway, so sweet.

Some people, like me, like the feel of being in the game (2k) rather than seeing a game (Broadcast).
