You only option might be to delete the save file for HUT.

I was afraid that might be the only choice, but I don't want to lose my team. I've put a lot of hours into it so far and spent a few ms points as well. I can't even find an ultimate team save file on my hard drive, everything else is there....??

I have this same problem but I have the game for Ps3 so I just created a new profile. I would appreciate an update on this if you guys find the problem. Deleting the game save, clearing the cache and cookies did not work for me. Seems to be a problem when connecting to your team over the EA servers.

None of the above worked for me. I can still play all other modes just fine however. So all is not lost.

It looks like the team became corrupted somehow. If anyone who's had this happen can recall any details of the actions they were taking leading up to it crashing, or having any other weird lineup problem like having a player in a goalie spot or vice versa, that could help us track it down.

I started sending them right to my active roster. At one point my roster space was listed as 29 of 28 but that could have been because of the player I was swapping at the time. After that I went to edit my lines and while editing my game froze. When I was editing I did remove players from my roster to replace them with my scratched roster. I ran out of players eventually and had bring up the drop down list of cards at the bottom of the screen. Maybe when I did this I put a goalie where he shouldn’t be but I’m not sure.

Hi,

I've the weird lineup problem.
The problem occurred after swapping some players.
I swapped 5 scratched players with my collection and then I replaced my 3th Off and Def lines with them.
I think the problems occurs after swapping the 5th player, a LD which was placed in the 3 RD spot. This player was now also the starting goalie. The goalie was moved to my collection.
I could change the goalie, but he was also placed on the RD slot, so I released him from the roster.
The goalie could now filled in normally, but since then I can't dress the RD slot. Every time I swap a player with the empty slot, the player is moved to the collection and the slot remains empty.
If I try to activate the empty slot, the game hangs and I have to quit the game or restart the PS3.

Ya, so I'm having the same problem.. As posted in another thread:

My HUT is broken, it has a glitch and I can’t get into it now.
I was moving my cards between my collection and scratched roster when the game froze. I restarted it, but one of the cards was missing.. I noticed there was a card there with no names, skills anything on it, just the words “unfilled” in every field. So I quit out thinking it would fix it, but now when I go to go in, it says Loading hut, that dissapears, but then freezes.
I went onto my son’s PSN account and loaded the game to see if it was my ps3. It works fine as I loaded a new HUT team and played.
So the mode is basically broke. Problem is I have spent an extra $40 on upgrades!
I have tried contacting EA but got passed around and around then got told to post on the EA message board, in which I was given 0 replies.
Basically I can’t play the game now.
If any devs or mods can help that would be great. My username is crazycanook and my team name is Melby Knights.

Hope they can get this fixed because I wanna play
