I take Kobe and put him about 15-18 feet away from the hoop and I'm posting him up (Holding RT and LT), but what I'm trying to then execute is a spin move out of the post up. So imagine he's dribbling with his right hand backing ray allen down, and then I want him to spin towards his right hip off of Ray ray. I have tried letting go of LT and just holding RT and pushing the joystick in that direction, and letting go of both triggers, but nothing works. When I try spinning the joystick or whatever, Kobe eventually just speed bursts away from Allen (probably because i'm holding RT). But regardless, can anyone help me?? Thanks!!!

Someone please help me with a post move???
Ok, so I finally figured out how to do Kobe's reverse pivot, but here's the move I can NOT figure out!

Back down, and as soon as your back is leaned on ray, let go of the triggers. Kobe will still be in the post animation. Then push the left stick in the direction you want to spin off to, and tap LT. This should work if i'm thinking the same thing you're thinking -

Re: Someone please help me with a post move???
It might be slow at first to get the positioning down of the joystick, but once you can do it fast, it's a really nice animation that creates good separation for a jumper or a drive to the hole. Play around with it and let me know if you can get it.Comment

Re: Someone please help me with a post move???
hold on, just to be clear, this is the move he did against the knicks right? the one that in 2k10 all you had to do was flick the right stick when you were in the right position, correct?Comment

Re: Someone please help me with a post move???
Clearly this guy is giving the equation needed to find life on Mars.
All it is, is one of the 'flick flick' moves.
You hold down L2 and flick the Right stick, then, before the pumpfake animation ends, hold the right stick in another direction to put up an evasive shot. Cant remember which direction is needed for the reverse pivot shot tho.Comment

Re: Someone please help me with a post move???
I'm talking about the move at the 10 sec. mark in this video. That's the spin pivot I thought you were talking about. Is this it?

Re: Someone please help me with a post move???
As much as I played 2k10, I never saw that move. I didn't play as Kobe much, but I had a couple of CAP's with his Lay-up set. That move is very rare if you don't know the context in which it is pulled off, but from what i understand, in 2k10 it's simply a lay-up input on the RS. This year, I'm guessing, with the Flick Flick controls users will be able to execute it on command with the right directional input.
Hopefully Mceltic will keep posting his demo mixes, inspirational stuff right there. It's irresistible to try to pull off something similar while paying the demo, but I often run into trouble with poor Isomotion timing.
