One Last Franchise To Keep Me Busy Until MLB 11

After winning the World Series with the Cardinals playing 162 games, I want to do one last franchise. I can't decide between the Rays or Angels. I plan on playing all 162 games, and using opening day rosters. Anyone got a lot of joy out of either team?

I've played a few exhibition games with the Angels because I like their make up. Good blend of speed, power, average, as well as defense and pitching.

For me, the Rays seem too easy to win with. The Angels will require some good play and I think would be more fun as far as having to fight for a championship. But that's just me.

If you can't decide, you could always do a fantasy draft with a team, and play a season like that. You'll get to use guys you never use.

Both will give you quite a challenge to make it to the playoffs, as the Rays have to contend with the Yankees and the Angels have the Rangers sitting in their division.

But overall, as mentioned, the Angels would probably give you a more thrilling season, as the Rays are much more well rounded than the Angels.

The Tigers. They have a little bit of pitching, a little bit of offense, and it's always a struggle to keep up with Chicago and Minnesota.

Or even Toronto. They have a good offense and decent pitching staff, just a tough division.

Playing with the Rays would be fun, but I just couldn't imagine have to play 81 games in that God awful Tropicana Field. The Rogers Centre isn't a whole lot better, but the Trop has to be the most septic and boring stadium in the Majors.

Fantasy draft would be fun with say, the Mariners.

I'm doing one with the marlins that has all the moves/injuries that have happened, except I did keep coghlan up and moved him to 3rd. Pretty fun so far through 6 games

If I weren't so immersed in my Phillies franchise, I'd give the Twins a shot. Their pitching isn't the greatest, but the batting is a good time.

As an Angels fan I would have to say go with them. They have a nice, but not exceptional team that could use a little something extra.

try the brewers.. plenty of pop in the lineup .. pitching is a little shaky though and they have a cool stadium

The Rockies...try to emulate sucking all year only to become a juggernaut around late August.
