Over the next few days I'll be taking notes (as I'm sure stepsix will be as well).
I will compile a list of all the constructive feedback we receive and repost it here nicely formatted.
We'll then go off as a team and decide what is a candidate for a patch and what is a candidate for next year.
We'll then post our intentions once we have decided what to tackle.
Don't worry, I'm not discouraged at all.

The only time I've ever done this is if I'm in a protect dribble and my defender is on my left hip. As in a backdown. For the life of me, I can't think of another situation. However, I don't really have to THINK about what i do on the court. All of it is just, "natural".Comment

i just cant get over how the game "looks" as far as animations goes. Its just looking weird. For some reason when i play nba elite, everything strategy wise seems to be thrown out of the window, and i dont get the feeling that none of these players on the court, actually play like they would in real life.Comment

I can't play this or the other game and it sucks because out of my 222 post majority of them are on the nba live board. The controls suck and thats my impression first impression I don't like them maybe because I don't know them but I don't like them. I don't like the way the game feels Live 10 was perfect for me i admit the 2 man animations were over dramatic and the way the shots went in needed to be addressed as far as what hit and what didn't but this is a fail. Why are the jersey numbers shining is this something new I missed for this season? I wanna vent my frustrations but i'm not.Comment

I'll play a little more till the NBA games release before I make a decision. I'll give EA a chance. I owe it to them. To be honest thought, I really didn't like the game play at first play.Comment

reAnimator,
my question is about real time physics. It seems that this was hyped up alot and was a key focus to this years game. However, playing the demo, I feel like there is no aspect of the game during gameplay that I "notice" a change due to RTP. Controls I feel like are different even though they can be intertwined with the concept. Can you help me understand better, I have read the blogs, etc. I just don't "see" or "feel" any PHYSICS jumping out at me. Where should I look specifically?Comment

Originally posted by wrelax13Man Reanimator, its not your fault. I blame whoever came up with this 3 year plan garbage and decided to scrap what was a decent game last year. I mean, in 3 years won't new consoles be out anyway? In 3 years live could've been a beast. The good news is, it really can't get much worse.
Because I was behind it 100% from day and I still am.Comment

Re: NBA Elite 11 Demo Available For PS3, Later Today For 360, Post Impressions Here
Serious question...have you aimed this at a new market? The consensus here seems to be dramatically bad and even at your own forums + the NBA Live Series Center the feedback coming in is terrible to date.
That doesn't mean it's extremely bad...but rather maybe it's just not suited to older / more hardcore type fans?
Including it with NBA Jam seems to indicate to me that you're aiming at a much younger / fun based audience? Nothing wrong with that BTW if it makes commercial sense.
I've got to be honest though...seeing you constantly tell the guys here (hard core sim guys) that this game is good and does have the best methods ever for defense etc etc and how much you and the team who made it love the game....it's getting kind of awkward at this point.
I know you have a job to go...but praise should come from other people. Some of the guys here who've posted as to how bad the DEMO is are long term, hard core LIVE / 2K / NCAA players. They've played these things for years now. Rhetoric isn't going to blind them.
The scary thing is...some of the guys saying it's terrible are long time EA basketball fans here.
I'll be happy for you if the feedback improves over the next 24 hours, but I've honestly not seen this level of negative feedback ever for a game on these forums.Comment

Wow, they ethered themselves this year. Self guillotine style. Controls were like molasses.NBA Live is the epitome of Cancel Culture..

Are you saying the same thing, or do you mean in real life?
Once you get used to the controls, you don't really think about it either.
One situation is if you have a passing option to the right, you're dribbling with your right but the passing lane is cut off.
You may want to back up and move to the left a little while keeping an open stance and then make the quick pass once you've opened up the lane.
Another is to start moving to your left to draw in the defender, and quickly spin out to the left and leave him in the dust.
I know I could find youtube footage of NBA players dribbling away from their ball hand on the perimeter if I looked for it.Comment
