I started a new season last night with my Denver Cougars. I'm playing on All-Pro with 6 minute QTRS.

Here's the roster:

GOLD:
QB: created myself (speed burner, laser arm, scrambler)
OT: Anthony Munoz

SILVER:
SS: Jerry Browner
WR: Herman Moore
WR: Henry Ellard

BRONZE:
DT: Dan Saleamua
ILB: Ken Norton
WR: Ricky Sanders
TE: Pete Metzalars
CB: Albert Lewis
RB: Barry Foster

So, my first game was against the LA Legends at home. After giving up a first play bomb to Jerry Rice, I was able to run well enough and mix in some short throws to keep Elway, Rice, and B. Sanders off the field for most of the first quarter and even the score at 7-7.

This was one of those games where I had to really consider how I was going to approach each play (offensively and defensively). For most of the contest I held Barry Sanders in check, but Jerry Rice made some clutch grabs on the final drive to set up a game tying FG for the legends. The game was 17-17 going into overtime.

LA won the toss and on a second and short I gambled with an inside blitz and Barry made me pay - after getting past the first level he was gone from about 60 yards out.

Final Score 23-17. Denver 0-1.

Great game...fun...challenging.
