Will you please find your seat?! This does not affect gameplay in any way, but it was a funny observation. There are a few fans who are sliding into the aisle to find their seat...and they go back and forth the entire quarter (see Memphis end, guy in green shirt, and the guys in the brown shirt and Blazers shirt behind Grizzlies bench, etc.). Again, doesn't take away from the game experience, but it is funny.Comment

I play with the Nets and I wish they would fix it. It looks ridiculous. The worst part of it is that when you used custom colors on the shoes you can see they have the darker red in they palette. Makes no sense if you ask me.Moderator

Re: NBA 2K11 Gameplay Video: Memphis Grizzlies vs. Portland Trail Blazers
I realize that and it still doesn't address my question. Are there any Grizz plays not initiated by the PG? I'm hoping so, but obviously this vid didn't show any.
The only time I saw some that looked like they were initiated by players other than the PG was in Da_Czar's Heat vid. Even then I couldn't tell for sure because I don't believe he showed the plays from inception.
We will have to agree to disagree. I've seen it with my own eyes in the demo. Some of the verticals with the bigs don't look right. It looks almost as out of whack as some of the Elite verticals. I see it a lot on offensive rebounds. I'm guessing long term they will get a handle on it to make it look more realistic.Last edited by oOausarOo; 09-22-2010, 03:46 PM.Comment

There were plenty of plays in the other videos initiated by SGs. Watch the Lakers video, lots of plays there starting with 24 (Kobe, Pau).I realize that and it still doesn't address my question. I'm sure there's plays that start with SFs too, and I was hoping for a Mavs breakdown to see what they do with Dirk.
I wouldn't worry about it. The Grizzlies will certainly have some in there for OJ.Comment

There are plays in the playbooks initiated by other players so even if the Grizz dont have any, you can always change their playbook to include those plays. I also recall Odom initiated a play in the Lakers Czar video.I realize that and it still doesn't address my question. Are there any Grizz plays not initiated by the PG? Hopefully that's the case and also for online the past two years we have not been able to switch team playbooks. That needs to be addressed also.Comment

Re: NBA 2K11 Gameplay Video: Memphis Grizzlies vs. Portland Trail Blazers
Sorry, now I know what you mean. You where talking about the jumping ability of the players, I thought you meant just their size. Because on the vertical issue I totally agree with you.We will have to agree to disagree. I've seen it with my own eyes in the demo. Some of the verticals with the bigs don't look right. It looks almost as out of whack as some of the Elite verticals. I see it a lot on offensive rebounds. I'm guessing long term they will get a handle on it to make it look more realistic.
The bigs shouldn't be able to jump that high. It looks weird and takes away too many rebounds from smaller players.Comment

Re: NBA 2K11 Gameplay Video: Memphis Grizzlies vs. Portland Trail Blazers
Easiest way to do up and unders .. post up and just tap the stick in the direction you want to go. For eg .. if your on the post at an angle and the basket is to your right ... just tap the stick to your right a few times. When you get nice w that .. you can shimmy the stick a few times and then send it right ...
Someone mentioned it looked like a cheese move. It's not. cause it can be stopped.. but it requires a DT if the ball handler is good enough .. or if your sharp on dt (like in real ball) - you can guess which way he's end up going from his position .. let him do his shimmy thing .. and swat right hand if that's where he ends up. If you have a decent shot blocker .. he's done.
But that's a move you'll have to defend yourself as it'll get cpu damn near every time .. which is a fair way to keep you honest if you want to run around/stay back and play the exit pass.
Cpu will start to double if he keeps scoring on them with that move ... i know it was 3 in the vids .. but a dt might come after like 4-5 .. realistically.Last edited by Stickz24; 09-23-2010, 09:06 AM.Comment
