    Randomness of Goal Review Outcomes

Is it just me, or does the outcomes of goal reviews seem random? No matter what actually transpired on the ice. For instance, I was playing OTP just now, and had a goal over turned on the ice, and was upheld after review, that shouldn't have. This is what happened; my team is on the PP, a D-man shoots from the point, my player collects the puck by kicking it to his stick, then just chips it in with his stick. And to my shock was upheld. And I looked at the replay numorous times. Need less to say, my team lost 4-3. I did score 2 goals (both shorthanded), but hit 2 posts on breakaways. It seems as if the game recognized he kicked it, but that he didn't touch it with his stick before it wen't in. Is there any way to patch this at some point?

You might be correct; however, the two that I have seen reviewed were legit.

I dont think outside of the demo, that the call has ever been right... Lol At least its consistent in that... Regardless its always pretty exciting IMO.

Weird, I've yet to see a goal review go wrong. Every single time I've had one reviewed they end up making the right call whether it's goal or no goal.

you think thats weird? lol i had a goal review for an empty netter that i scored. it was the funniest thing i had ever seen.

i take a penalty, then i go on to hammer the opposing player with the puck and the puck gets knocked down into their empty net. The ref immediately waves it off and it goes to review and get over turned. lol

All my goal reviews have been good so far. Most times I think it should(or shouldn't) count and then watch the replay and see that what the refs said was true. I even saw a play where I thought the guy hit it in with his glove, but replay showed it hit his glove, then hit his stick and went in so it counted.

Everyone I have seen turned out to be the correct call.

I've only seen 2, but they've both been correct.

every goal review I have seen has been a good call surprisingly.

Re: Randomness of Goal Review Outcomes

One of my reviews was really bad. My goalie blocked a point blank wrist shot and my defender comes in and flattens the guuy who shot it. As he fell backwards, he kicks his leg in the air. Before his skate leaves the ice, it knocks the puck in. The ref waves it off and goes to review it. After the review, where the replay clearly shows the puck being kicked in by the skate, he overturns the call and gives them the goal.

I think that was still the correct call.
I could be wrong, but it has to be a deliberate kicking motion.
If the guy was getting dropped by a defender, and in getting hit, hit foot hits the puck and knocks it in, i believe that still counts.
                      I could be wrong though.

Yeah...I've had no strangeness occur with the reviews.

In fact, each time I see one, I think...

                        Man, this is SICK.

Recently, I had two in one period!!! I've only had 5 or 6 between the game and the demo after tons of play. Loved it.

                        The game is truly unpredictable.

I finally got my first two in back to back games and both were the correct calls (and both went against me... one for a good cpu goal and one goal taken away from me)

haters hate..... every single review has been warranted. If you are looking for perfection, it doesn't exist.... so deal with it and play the game.
