Who is getting Elite

With all the negativity going around with elite i want to know who is getting it and i dont mean later like in January or when the price drops. With the impressions is hard to tell who is getting the game even though 90 percent of those posters are not based on the posts.

I kind of had my mind made up on which game i was going to get and i will keep that to myself but after playing 2k today for the first time since elite demo came out im on the fence again.

Mods i dont know if there is another place to ask this so thats why i started a thread for it

Can we please keep this thread on topic and thats only if you are getting elite and why

I'm getting it. Not cause it's the better game, but because it something different. Idk, I'm one of those. I like new and innovative stuff even if isn't the best thing all the time. Take the PS Move for example, doesn't have the best game but I like the technology so I bought it day one.

I'll be heart broken if I find out that they haven't touched Dynasty mode again though.

I've actually been a big 2k player on the current gen consoles. Love everything about that game. The franchise mode with a couple of friends is the @#$%. But in 08 I decided to buy Live 09 instead, got tired of it after 2 days and traded it back in and got 2k9. Then around January I decided to try it again and ended up playing it until Live 10 came out which I purchased day one.

I just love the Playcalling, the movement and the spacing in NBA Live/Elite games. I used to always try it for the graphics as well but 2k has passed them up in that department as well. if you go back and compare 2k7 and Live 07 graphically it's not even a contest.

So, yeah it basically comes down to whether you want something different or not. Because I can honestly say that this game no longer has any advantages over the other game. Whether it used to be graphics, control, spacing, playcalling, 2k has either caught up or finally passed them.

2k11 is definitely the smart choice, but for some reason I want to play Elite 11 day one.

and sorry devs, I basically told everyone not to buy Elite. Didn't mean to do that. But I hope there is more players out there that feel the way I do, Because I definitely want to try EASBA.

Count me in big time. Already put $37 on my pre order. For PS3 though. So yea.

PSN= MNM1013 Want to form a EASBA team now!!!! lol. Already have 3. I'm sorry but this game is fun and it really doesn't suck. The xbox 360 demo is different from the ps3 though and better. No weird hitchness and all that stuff. Retail will be better so yea.

Also I was posting up, and it feels way better then 10. Shimmy shake right, left, right then hook. Man I killed my brother with that. Oh yea I dunked on ray ray with odom and he fell. How ironic. Does it ring a bell? lol.

I doubt this thread will last long...heavy troll potential, but yes I am in..like Ray, I buy both, and I like them both for different reasons.

Looking forward to online, EASBA, and become legendary.

I also always do a fantasy draft franchise.

The trade logic is so screwed up historically, I figure I might as well just mix the whole up.

This thread is a joke right? I'd like to see nobody buy this game..So EA can just focus on other sports and leave basketball to 2k Sports. NBA 2k11 is by far leaps and leaps and leaps way ahead of NBA Elite...

this is how i feel about elite. Without going into detail 2k has definitly caught up with this series but elite does offer something new in terms of gameplay and it is the smart choice.

yea its similar but everyone is going to have an opinion on how elite should be released even though they are not getting the game
