I'm having the same "Demo Launch" Problem, and it was because I used my Bro's gold membership to download it, cause once he recovered his gamertag and connected to Xbox Live on his system, it kicked me from the demo, and I can't play it now.

It's weird because I did the same thing with the Elite demo and it still lets me play that....

The graphics seem poor and very "jagged" on the PS3. Even on 0 sharpness there are huge jagged lines around the basket, and on the player models. I recall 2k9/10 had very smooth graphics on my 360 (can't check now, 360 died recently). Anyone else notice this? Will it be fixed in the final version?

Yea blues rocker, this game makes me want to play more and with different teams(5th october!) they tweaked and perfected what is good, they have corrected what was wrong and in the same it flows and feels amazing. I was sceptical with videos i've watched b4 demo but now all my troubles with the game for the last 2 years seemed sorted out. Mike Wang!!

I've tested myself if that's the case, first of all those passes are not always perfect and you can see guys on the receiving end loosing balls or getting out of bonds, second and the most important, demo is set to default style and pro difficulty, just raising a level up of difficulty will do wonder and add simulation style to that, here you go it's not likely we'll see it as a problem anymore.

              It's a bare bones demo.

NBA2K9 looked sick on PS3 (when I owned that game) never bought 2K10 so I can't comment on that.

I am not woried one iota about this game.

I played 4 quarters last night and the more I play the better I am getting. The feel is amazing. It really is a touch and feel game in regards to the stick skills and controlling your momentum. I love the realisitc weight transfer I am feeling. Also playing the point or the 2 guard it is all about feeling the flow. The post feels fantastic. Defense is definitly there. And this is on default pro and probably not sim style. I can already see how much better defense is going to be. I love how guys are moving around (AI improved big time) fighting for position in the post and on the preimeter. It just feels and plays so friggin real!

Use practice mode when the game drops. I will be there first and foremost and practice like a maven. I want to get iso-motion down to a tee.

This is a game that rewards stick skills, and guys who practice and work at it. I love it.

I love this game, but I am having trouble with passing. I feel like I have to rely on Icon passing to not turn the ball over, but then I cant use the left trigger for my driving to the hole cuz its a passing icon. Any suggestions on how to work on passing?

Even though its 4 mins long, its enough to give me a taste of what the full version is like. I played this demo 20 some odd times and its cool to see new stuff ever time I play!

Okay so playing the ps3 demo and 360 back and forth for 2 times I have come to the decision that the ps3 one is a different build just seems like a older version due to how the game starts ....

I also noticed ps3 controller more responsive then the 360 for doing moves but maybe that's just me.

But if I am wrong about the ps3 build not being early and being retail (graphically) this is pitaful and 360 blows it out of the water

just make your dribble move and wait until right before passing before bringing up the icons...i do it all the time...with a little practice you'll get it. just takes some quick reflexes.

that and the unstoppable turn around post shots...there have been many times where i have contested Garnett's turn around shot and my forearm literally goes through the ball and he still swishes it...i was hoping this year we would see an end to these cheesy ball clipping issues...in that situation, it should be a block...what's the point of contesting his shot if he can just shoot the ball right through your arm and swish it? it doesn't reward you for playing good defense....and even if he did manage to make the ball go through my arm, the shot still should miss on the basis that i was heavily contesting him with my arm all up in his space...if they're going to allow the ball to go through my arm, at least give me a brick off the rim for my good defense.
That was my only gripe when I played the demo early on. However, lately I seem to be able to defend well on KG's turnaround jumpers. Maybe it has to do with the improved timing of my jumps but most likely it also has to do with momentum: I usually beat the Celtics pretty easily now and get runs which shifts the momentum to me and makes the CPU miss more mid and long range jump shots.
I must say that in general defense seems ALOT more rewarding than last year.

                              I have a question:

Guys, is it possible to control where the tipoff ball goes? I mean, there were some older games that enabled you to control where to tip the ball (as long as you won the tipoff) - like pushing the stick to the direction you want while jumping. And it was pretty useful, especially when there was a tipoff at one of the FT-line areas.

Is there such thing in 2K11?
                              My Specs:

Yup, you can. I've routinely tipped to Kobe in the demo on command. Just point to the player you want to tip it to with the RS.
