Curious about something--I never downloaded the 2nd patch that had Breast Cancer Awareness and other in game fixes. Now a 3rd patch is out.

If I download the 3rd, does that mean I can't get the second?

Edit: Is anyone noticing huge differences with sliders after the patch?

Please, someone with the power to talk to Ian Cummings tell him that the kicking field goal situation via this new patch is ridiculous. I liked it before, where no field goal was a given. It actually made kicking field goals fun...

I mean... in the second patch they claim they made stability to the field goal kicking system, and in this new patch, they just butchered the fun out of kicking field goals. That meter is way to slow... someone talk to Ian Cummings about a fix tonight. That's how serious I think it is.

I know it sounds weird, but maybe that isn´t the third patch! I don´t see any posts at the Madden 11 site or at Twitter. Maybe it´s a lil patch between both...it would explain why the most stuff isn´t fixed at all except the Kicking Meter!

Ian mentioned in his blog a while back that Patch #3 would have more uniform tweaks. Did anyone notice any?

The main thing I'm interested in in this regard is whether or not the Chargers Alternate Powder Blue jerseys were finally included in the game after a 2 year absence.

wow thats how they fix the lag problem by making it so easy a ****** couldnt mess it up wow EA plz not again they fixe one problem and create another one

if its a slow as u say it is no one is gonna miss fgs online anymore nice and authentic

Having played Madden on ps3 mostly since it has been out, the lag with the kicking meter was horrible playing it online. I bought Madden for 360 last week.. and I had zero problems with the kicking meter playing it online.

I think the kicking meter was perfect on the 360. Slowing it way down probably was a bad idea, just get rid of the lag.

Before this patch i had the computer "break tackle" slider at 0, meaning that elite backs such as Adrian Peterson would get realistic rushing stats against me. In my franchise Frank Gore usually runs over my Rams team, but now i was able to tackle him on each play without him breaking a single tackle. So now i just have to increase the "break tackle" slider.

Didn't notice any difference in pass coverage though.
