These ratings favor guards more than anything. I mean John Wall 81 and Dirk an 83! I wonder what Dirk's ratings would be if he was a guard.

Duncan has a 90 but Dwight Howard only has an 88. I think 90% of the people that know anything about the nba would pick Howard any day

Thats what I'm talking about back in 2k8 and 2k9. Guys like JR Smith were LeBron James Jr. Thats because the bottom scale was 50. They changed it in 2k10. And last year you could really tell the difference between a D League guy and a NBA All Star. This year we are probably going to see an even bigger improvement in the area.

On a funny note...I remember Kevin Durant (or someone) saying last year "I'm only rated a 74"...lol

Re: NBA 2K11: Starting Five Roster Ratings

Dirk continues to get brutally underrated by 2K... it's one thing to say "Well if he plays in the game like he does in real life it's no big deal" but I found that he rarely made any All-NBA teams or finished top 7-8 in scoring either, so...

Also, Durant only a 91? Where exactly are his flaws again? Personally I think he should be one of the 2 or 3 top-ranked players in the entire league...

Without looking at individual ratings, there are some overalls evidently manipulated.

On the other hand, we should wait and see how does the new AI team management philosophy handles them and if, as already pointed out, an 83 Dirk is value more than a 85 boozer or a 83 Lee.

Re: NBA 2K11: Starting Five Roster Ratings

Guys guys...it doesnt matter about overall ratings anymore..as long as their individual ratings are fine.

For instance westbrook and parker, westbrook and parker are quite similar but westbrook is more athletic so his ratings probably get a boost for having a better dunk, vertical, and athleticism rating, but parker probably has better mid range, quickness, etc.

As long as the trade value logic is as what 2k says it is then im good. I dont want being able to trade some one thats 78 for jennings cos of his low rating.

                      IMO ...

                      PG - Reke
                      SG - Cisco/Casspi
                      SF - Donte Green
                      PF - Carl Landry
                      C - Dalembert/Cousins

I'd probs agree with Kings ratings though!
I think (more like I know) there are baseing it on last years final rosters. And I Westphal was changing the line up all year long. The only guys that started every game (they played) were Evans and Hawes (he got traded).

The Ratings look the same from 2k10,How is Cory Maggette rated high than Jennings should at least be a 80. D.Howard should be like a 93, Ray Allen Should of been a little higher too (82) O.j Mayo and Rudy Gay are higher than him. K.Durant should be a 95 better than Melo

Joe Johnson an 88 (same as D.Howard!) i don't think so....Al Horford and Chris Kaman 78s? harsh man...Joachim Noah only a 73 wooow at that 1 thought him and deng would be around the same level....Linas Kleiza though 55 thats a bit extreme man he might not have been in the league for a while but as a European i thought i should point out that his rating is absurd loool....haha at darko millicic' rating man thats 2 much (Khhhhhaaaaannnnn!)

There is no way Kleiza should be a 55. If anyone watched him play this summer, he's pretty damn good. In fact, he will likely be one of the best Raptors this year. Watch for that rating to shoot up 20, very, very quickly.

Calderon on the other hand, shouldn't be >70. He plays zero defense, and couldn't guard a lemonade stand.

Well its very obvious that Duncan has more high ratings than Dwight has right now. I don't see why people are so surprised about this. Dwight shouldn't have the same offensive post up, med shooting, freethrows, low post shot, and offensive awareness. Pretty is to see why he rated higher
