Can someone clarify for me that these ratings are by position, because a CP3 is rated 95 at the point, that doesn't mean he is gonna be better than a KD at 91 playing the 3 spot, as long as that balance is there I happy with these ratings.

I think Josh Smith could be a 85 or 84 and Horford is a 81 or 82 but I understand all the ratings. Majority of the time, the skills are better than the rating.

Yes. They are rated by position.

He's getting up there with age and though he comes through in the crunch time, He isn't that consistent. Maybe I'd bump it up to 70-72 but nothing higher.

He shot 38% last year and avg 3 apg. He is really a below average NBA PG in this day and age.

Just ignore the Lin bandwagoners, most of them didn't even know about Jeremy Lin prior to his Summer league games or the so-called "Lin owning John Wall game".

Anyone who watched the actual game knows that Jeremy Lin was't even matched up against Wall the entire game, it was only in the fourth. The Mavs tried 3 guys on Wall...Beaubois, Dojo, and Lin.

If people are going to judge performance just on the summer league, John Wall was the oustanding player of the SPL. Jeremy Lin was never even listed in the Top 10 SPL players.

We all know people want Lin to succeed, but most of them confuse their pride with ignorance and overrate Jeremy Lin's performance vs Wall.

When exactly did Lin destroy Wall?

                      Wall: 21 points, 10 assists, 8 rebounds.

                      Lin: 13 points, 4 assists, 4 rebounds.

Yeah man, Lin definitely destroyed him.

Why should Dwight be in the 90's? because he is a no show in the playoffs? or because he's the most athletic big man ever and yet he doesn't have one post move, let alone a short 7-10 jumper.

Yes I agree Wall is high, but Wall is going to be really good, he shouldn't be lower than say a 77. Curry is only an offensive player, he can't guard the elite PG's in the league. While will be able too with his size, speed and athleticism ( and his overall hunger on the defensive side)

My biggest gripe is chris bosh, how the heck is he an 87? he's not better than dirk and he's actually a worst post defender than dirk. He's got a good midrange game and an ok post up game. With Bron and Wade, they don't need his midrange game. Bosh Should be the 83 and guys like Dirk and David Lee should be the 85-87's.

And how are bron and Wade rated the same as kobe? they arent better. they are younger but as players they are not a better player right now. Attaching Overalls really kills all this. Too bad people have to rely on them. You can run your association with never looking at Overalls and build teams that fit with each other

I agree that Roy and Joe are both the same in terms of overall.

Only player that's absolutely outrageous to me is Evan Turner at a 76. Forget that.

Maybe because he's the best rebounder, best shot blocker and most athletic big man in the NBA. On top of all that, he can average 20 points a night on a very high percentage. Even with his offensive deficiencies, Dwight is still the best big man in the NBA. Dwight and Timmy should have their rating flip-flopped and Gasol should have his dropped by a point or two.

My biggest gripe is chris bosh, how the heck is he an 87? he's not better than dirk and he's actually a worst post defender than dirk. He's a better rebounder than Dirk and he's a better scorer than David Lee. Basically, he's the more complete player of the three and most people would agree. Although, I agree his rating is a little high.

They're both statistically superior players to Bryant, plus they're both younger and more athletic. An aging Kobe Bryant doesn't deserve to be tied with LeBron James. Nor should Wade be rated at a 97. LeBron is the most complete player in the league and his overall rating reflects that, but Wade and Bryant aren't in his class.
