Person C: "Guys.. Center's have different core ratings than Point Guards.. why does everyone keep comparing different positions??"
Then Person D comes in and assumes the role of Person A.

I'd like to see someone take count of how many times that has happened in this thread.. It's just going in circles over and over..
Man i'm tellin you it just ain't right playa. Ma boi Bob McAdoo rated lower den Carmelo Anthony. Sumtin aint right at 2K, McAdoo at least a 95. dey crazi man! Go Braves!

In all seriousness though, this thread is just the devil in disguise. We're getting nowhere and going in circles like you said. Only a handful of people understand overall ratings aren't the whole picture.

If their player isn't in the upper echelon of talent, something's wrong. Even though that player will probably still play like they do IRL, they don't care about individual ratings, they want that big number to be in the high 80's to 90's.

The overall rating has driven people insane, a mass majority don't understand how ratings work, and it's because of that overall number. It's ridiculous.

I wish Dwight Howard at 88 was a bit higher.... esp when Bosh is an 87, not that Bosh isnt good, but Howard is significantly better imo

98% of these ratings are identical as their June 2k10 update (+/- 1)... happy to see them spend some money and time developing and improving their ratings.

Worst ratings ive seen in a long time. Your gunna tell me they put Brandon Jennings on the same level as Raymond Felton? B-Diddy is a 79 and CP3 is a 95? These ratings seem to be based on who gets the most ABC sunday showcase games...

Are you saying Jennings should be higher or lower than Felton? And dude...an injured CP3 played wayyyy better than B-Diddy last year. CP3 averaged 19 and 11 last year despite being injured and shot almost 10% higher than Davis.

RATINGS ARE STRAIGHT... there are couple here and there that throw u for a loop... i always think that ratings should be within a threshold (say about 6 points) any player outside of that is when i get a lil iffy... like marvin williams. I think he could be a 70-72... but since he is a 66 and within that threshold.... its alright

Brandon Jennings is definitely underrated!!! He should at least be 78 or 79. And Any rookie rated over 75 is overrated(John Wall being the highest rated rookie should be 75 at most) Dwade should be about a 95 and not be rated same as Kobe and Lebron!!!

i think they should add a loyalty rating and make queen james's 0 and his clutch rating should also be 0 to represent the fact that he gave up in the playoffs the last 2 years. that way his overall will drop big time! kobe should be the only 97 in the game because he's the only one close to being as good as jordan and i hope jordan is 100 because no one will ever be what he was
