    Madden NFL 11 Custom Sliders V3 Post Patch (Final) - (NYGiants4Natic)

    Here is my post patch set which is the final one I will do for this years game. I have started my season and these are the sliders that I will play with. These do not have to be the sliders you use but I am sure it can be a good foundation for what you will eventually end up with.

    I must say that I find these sliders work best with auto sprint OFF on Very Slow Game Speed.

    I love total control of my player and on deep balls you sometimes feel that with Auto On you are not able to make keep up with a receiver because the CPU might not be the best judge of when and if sprint should be used. But that is just my opinion.

    As for the last patch, I feel it did a lot of good under the hood which many will not see right away but will pick up after a good amount of time. The PA sacks are fix and if you feel they are not then you might want to establish a positive run game. You cannot expect to have a 2.7 or 3.0 run per rush average and expect the defense to bite.

    The pass defense is smarter and better overall and I feel that the gameplay has reached this years potential for me at least.



    All options are up to you but what I use is below

    Game Flow (On)

    Game Speed (Very Slow) ****You can choose your liking****

    Game Clock (13 min)

    Accelerated Clock (20 seconds run off)

    Max penalties for False Start, Offside, Defensive Pass Interference,Offensive Pass interference



    Human Sliders (Custom)


    QB Accuracy (21) Top rated passers are still deadly and not so good passers will struggle a bit

    Pass Blocking (11) This will provide a bit of help with pass blocking

    WR Catching (30) Try and user catch but raising it will make catching to easy on deep throws vs a defender with little effort.


    RB Break Tackles (6) Will help get some broken tackles with power runners and ball carriers

    RB Run Blocking (30) This will provide a good run team the correct abilities and not so great run games a struggle

    RB Fumbles (25) Makes you cover the ball more which i feel is an important function of running with the rock


    Pass Recognition (27) The patch certainly helped pass defense therefore now this works fine at this level

    Interceptions (0) I still get picks but now it is not every time I go for one

    Pass Rush (35) This will provide a solid but not great pass rush depending on the teams d-line or opponents o-line.


    Run Recognition (0) The CPU run game is much better this year but lowering this does not allow you to just jump all over the back

    Break Blocks (0) This was lowered to help cpu run game and it works with the cpu run blocking slider

    Tackling (62) This will help with the broken tackles after raising break tackles for CPU





    CPU Sliders (Custom)


    QB Accuracy (50) With the new pass defense patch this slider is perfect at default

    Pass Blocking (10) If you lower this more then user pass rushing will be far to easy.

    WR Catching (40) This will allow for certain drops to happen to keep things honest



    Break Tackles (45) Patch fixed the cpu broken tackles therefore we can raise it high again to counter high tackle slider for human

    Run Blocking (29) With the lowering of break blocks for human this was lowered to fix the constant pancake blocking of your whole d-line

    Fumbles (47) Allows you to get some fumbles from time to time



    Pass Recognition (66) This will help the cpu pass defense but raising higher will lead to defenders breaking before receivers which is not sim

    Interceptions (26) This will make you pay for your mistakes and lowers the amount of d-lineman picks

    Pass Rush (44) This will get pressure on your after about 2-3 seconds but will help d-tackles just swimming around lineman



    Run Recognition (27) This will help the CPU be alert to your tosses and counters but not to a level of knowing your plays

    Break Blocks (15) Will help counter the constant cpu defensive tackle from swim ripping your guard and center and getting tons of TFL

    Tackling (49) This will help the cpu not allow human runners from just trucking and getting out of 5 man gang tackles often



    Special Teams (Custom)


    FG Length (23)This will lower the amount of 58 yarders but keep it real with 45-50 yarders depending on kicker

    FG Accuracy (51) This will help improve the CPU from missing FG in bad weather and at easy spots

    Punt Length (23) This will help lower the return game a bit

    Punt Accuracy (51) Allows for better placement down the lines

    Kickoffs (0) To me the patch does not allow easy returns therefore getting the kickoff to land at about the 10 is perfect.



    Auto Subs (Custom) I only change RB

    74 Out
    80 In

    Fatigue 52
    Speed Threshold 50
    13 minutes 20 sec acc clock

          wow these are hard!! I like parts of the game but man my pass coverage was horrible! I also am going to have to raise wr cathing for the human, my wide outs had 6 drops in the first quarter!

              Hey im going to try these out 2nite when my nephew comes to my house. We did use some other sliders but after being 4-1 with the Cleveland Browns and also scoring 73 pts against the Texans AND breaking the passing touchdown record in 1 game (7 TDs by Jake Delhomme, this was on Gameflow too) it was time to restart.

              This time were going to create ourselves (He will play MLB, I will play ROLB, both will be 74 OVR as rookies with A Pot) and we will control all 32 teams to manage the depth charts of other teams and to help with the offseason activites so teams won't do anything stupid.

              These sliders look MUCH tougher then the last one we used here and we were sick of high scoring games with the Browns. (We scored 35, 38 and 73 on 12 Min Q with 25 Sec Acc Clock) so I told him it was time to try some others. Like I said, we use gameflow but we was just scoring too much, especially with the 2 minutes left in the 2nd Q. I'll post some results later 2nite of our 1st game.

              The only thing that concerns me on these is Speed Thresold on 50, hopefully I dont see too many long plays, we do see them on Sunday but too many of them in Madden and i'll be back to them 38-31 scores where its just too much offense.

                Played 3 games with these sliders and WOW i felt just like the Cleveland Browns lol. I cant say too much of the stats because the tv is turned off and my nephew is sleeping but we were 1-2 after 3 games.

                GM 1: Cleveland Browns @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers (Final Score: 17-14 OT Tampa Bay)
                GM 2: Kansas City Chiefs @ Cleveland Browns (Final Score: 20-7 Kansas City)
                GM 3: Cleveland Browns @ Baltimore Ravens (Final Score: 20-13 Cleveland, huge victory because we was down 13-6 after 3 quarters)

                The only problems I had was that Jake Delhomme was bad in terms of comp % (About 50%), but besides that everything was spot on. He has like 3 TDs and 4 INTs after 3 games and Jerome Harrison is averaging 4.5 YAC. All 3 games were fun and extremely difficult to score, but I would rather lose close games then to win by 21 points.

                Highly recommend these sliders if your on a rebuilding/bad team and want a real challenge.

                  The speed thresh hold should be default 50

                  Raising it makes your receivers get 5 yard separation from defenders and Lowering it would make CPU defenders break on receivers and get a head of them on passes.

                  50 is fine and I do not see many big plays. I see some and most drives are about 8-12 plays.

                    Gonna use these and start my franchise finally. I do have a question.

                    When you adjust the sliders and you make the number BIGGER,does that make the attribut your adjusting easier or harder?

                    Example: If you move the player qb accuracy from say 20 to 50 does that make the qb more or less accurate?

                    I really need to know this. The default difficulty of pro everything is like, 5 or 10 I cant remember. And all-pro has a HIGHER number so by that logic...RAISING a slider makes it HARDER.....right??/

                      Starting My Green Bay Franchise w/these sliders.. Pretty Good

                      I lost 38-31 But it was competitive which is what I'm looking for.

                      Passing Was a bit easy, but I do have Aaron Rodgers might have to try some other teams out to see if there's a difference. I couldn't run the Ball at all.. Don't remember the Stats but I think I had 17 Carries for 35 Yards the Whole game.

                        So lowering some of these is making that particular subslider as hard as possible??

                              I like these more than any of the other's on this site. With the others, I always seem to have good games at first, and then after the fact, I just get blowout after blowout.

                              I use these with small tweaks depending on the team I am using in franchise. For example, with the Raiders, I make the running sliders a little easier, seeing as how, right now they are running really well, yet in Madden, they suck are run blocking big time. I now get games that are closer.

                              Also, running plays(for me) are a big key to using higher qtr times, as they keep the clock running. The key for me has been to get the running game set for short and medium carries, but very few long ones. Keeps the game time more realistic, and also keeps the passing game from being 500yds a game.
