Sound good! Thanks for posting. I'm gonna be out for a few hrs. cant wait to check it out. I notice that was for patch 1.01. My download said 1.02. Seriously?! Remember the old NES/SNES days when we didn't know what a patch was..these days every game has a day 1 patch!

Can anyone who has played with the patch discuss the lack of constant unrealistic pressure and the CPU giving you more space (taking this from the quoted tweets above). Can you stay in the CPU zone for longer in trying to build up an attack/ does the defense soak up the pressure at times instead of constantly chasing now?
How about on the flip side. It seems from impressions that the overall speed of the game is slower then the demo. Absolutely awesome if true. As a result, does the CPU build up their attack more and sit in your half of the pitch trying to move the ball around to create changes when it is necessary to do so? I am hoping it isn't just blind relentless races to the nets.
I know this is hard to judge and I am always complaining about it, I just want the CPU to at least try to play tactically, especially if it is big club vs minnow.Comment

Yeah dude. Even the PS2 / Original Xbox / Gamecube days. The only games that were patched were PC games, which were understandable due to the variety of graphics cards and hardware that were playing them. Since 360 and PS3 games all have the same hardware and graphics cards, the patches for 360 and PS3 games nowadays are due to the developers being in way over their heads and pushing games out before they are complete.
I find it amazing that within 24 hours, EA cancelled NBA Elite 11's release scheduled for next week, and released a patch for FIFA 11 within hours of it hitting the shelves.
This doesn't sound good at all and it sounds like a lot of people are having problems with FIFA 11, especially the PC version. I think I will stick with FIFA 10 PC.Comment

Seriously I'm more surprised when a patch/update of some type doesn't hit on launch. NCAA had one this year, NHL had an update this year, FIFA has one. NCAA and NHL had one last year too if I recall. That means at least 3 of the 4 games I buy from EA each year had one this year. Madden, I'm not sure about, as I didn't buy it this year, but I think it did too.Comment

Got the game last night and the patch and although the game played better than the demo it is still too hard.. The AI defense is insane and on the other side the AI still doesnt do much offensively.
I know with time I will adapt but right now to me,10 was more fun..Comment
