Official OS Impressions and Q&A Thread

Hey Everyone,

I should have the PS3 version within the hour and the 360 version on Thursday so Ive decided to open this thread up for some Impressions and Q&A. I know that many of your questions have been answered in the other thread but hopefully I can help answer a few other questions. There are a few ground rules:

- No questions that require me to sim full seasons or multiple seasons. If I have time I may decide to do it but my focus is going to be gameplay.

- No questions about accessories. I know many of you guys are shoe and accessory crazy...I'm not. So I'm not going to waste time to see if Al Horford is wearing Jordans or Reeboks.

- Do not repost your question over and over again. If I dont respond to your question either I cant answer it or it goes against one of the ground rules.

Other than that, feel free to post your questions and Ill have some impressions in a few hours.

I have been trying to find a answer to this.

What is the difference between camera relative controls and absolute. I know camera is based on which goal you are at, where you are at on the court and what hand the ball is in. What will be the difference with absolute controls. Will you not have to worry bout what hand the ball is in, or will moving the stick in a circle starting from the left always be for spin, and so on?

I know you might not be able to tell untill you get the game but im just asking now.

I want you to check out the online gameplay. Can you play a ranked match and tell me how it is? I'm assuming your a sim player, so tell me how a ranked match feels from a sim perspective this year...

Just a random question, is there a way you could type out a roster from any given historic team(s)? I've seen initial lists of historic teams that featured just 5-6 players. Then I found there may be more than this on some teams. For instance, initial lists did not show any teams involving Bill Wennington or Jud Buechler, but now I've heard they are included.

I guess in lieu of typing out a roster, could you just share how many real players are on each classic team (an average, an estimate, an overall idea)?

I appreciate the effort.

No but I like that the added an off ball pressure option for each player.

Good so far. Seen the CPU drive and pull up with Starks. I was able to hit two midrange jumpers with Sam Perkins on Superstar.

Havent used a fast PG yet.

Most teams have about 6-7 real players. The Bulls 96-97 team has the most with 10 real players. The Classic Teams are pretty useless until they are renamed and rerated. Every non Bulls team has the same bench players. Smith at PG, a Williams at SF etc.

For the PS3 version, do you notice any framerate hiccups? If so, when do they occur?
