Quick recruiting question

Just started my dynasty with UW and added 12 prospects to my board before the season started. After I advanced to week 1 I went to my board and I had 35 players on it. Is there a way to turn this off so i can only have my 12 that i selected or do I have to remove them manually

Happens to me all the time when I forget the turn off the recruiting assistance. Just gotta turn that stuff off and manually remove the excess players.

the only assistance i use is visit assistance. the others hurt more than help. but visit assistance is quite good for scheduling visits of guys on your board you really arent recruiting.
my not be allowed if you do online dynasty though.

yeah visit assistance is the only good thing to use. Recruiting assitance just clogs up the prospect board.....

I've had recruiting assistance on for my last two seasons and now I'm about to take it off b/c I now question some of the guys they are putting on my board. This one recruit kept appearing on my board no matter how many times I took him off so once I locked up all of my needs I went ahead and offered this guys a scholarship and I got 0 pts from the offer and he tells me something like, "You might want to use this offer for another guy at this position" Basically telling me that he's not coming. So once I removed him again, the CPU added him back the following week. Gotta love the honesty but that was time wasted for the week and i wish the CPU would not add guys back that you have previously removed.

You got 0 points bc he had already been offered a scholarship and when you removed him it rescinded the scholarship offer, but when you offered it again you get 0 points (unlike previous versions where you still got points) bc he/the computer knows you already offered him before and took it away.

i never have used any recruiting assistance and i only actively recruit at the most 15 guys. the more time you spend on a recruit the faster you get him. the CPU's recruiting logic for CPU teams seems completely flawed so i would never totally trust it to do your recruiting, but i can understand the visit assistance

Scholarship assistance is the only option I had off so he wasn't previously offered. I think it was the fact that I kept removing him off my board every week and the CPU adding him back. His interest level never changed from week to week either. I think I was like 8th the entire time.
