Re: Is anyone creating classic players right now?
I think there are couple of Bad Boys on the bench but about 4-5 are missing. I'm pretty sure Vinnie Johnson is there and there's another guy. The rest of them may be generic.
EDIT:
Do you guys think that only the white bald guys are the generic ones? If so, I think I saw only 2 of them on the bench. And seems like there's no Chuck Daly.

Re: Is anyone creating classic players right now?
Im sure Portlandblazer will create the rest of the players needed to fill out the rosters for the classic teams.
In time, I'm hoping [ if i have the time and patience ] to create an entire league of classic teams. well each franchises best [or one of] teams of the past 20 yrs into one roster.
and designed so you can play "season" mode in it. so simmed stats, league/team leaders to be on point, and duplicates to be at a minimum if at all.
I did this for 2k9 [nogsters nba generations] and it was my favourite roster to play with.]
01 76ers, 02 nets, run tmc warriors, nash, dirk and finley mavs, 04 twolves etc...Comment

Re: Is anyone creating classic players right now?
Here's a list of the missing Bulls players. Hope to find a full list of all the missing players.
1986 Bulls
They got all the starters here and a few bench guys. They have George Gervin on the Bulls. I guess the biggest missing name is Gene Banks. But I'm not to broken up over that.
1990 Bulls
Got the first 10 guys. Only missing Jeff Sanders and Charles Davis. Again, not heartbreaking.
1991 Bulls
Just missing Scott Williams and Dennis Hopson.
1992 Bulls
Got the first 10 players. Missing Scott Williams and Bobby Hansen
1995 Bulls
Got the first 10 guys. Missing Larry Krystkowiak, Corie Blount, Dickey Simpkins, Pete Myers. Some combination for the 11th and 12th man. But no biggie.
1996 Bulls
They got the first 10 guys. Biggest names missing from this team are Randy Brown and Jason Caffey. They could have used James Edwards here. Edwards is on the 1990 Pistons rosters and they could have plugged him in on this Bulls team. But oh well. No John Salley or Jack Haley either. Jack Haley and his 1 game played in 1995-96 lol.
1997 Bulls
Got the first 10 guys. Missing Brian Williams, Jason Caffey and Randy Brown
1998 Bulls
Got the first 10. No Scott Burrell or Randy Brown.
Couldn't pots the link where I found it for some reason, but anyway, it's good to know.Last edited by youvalss; 09-29-2010, 09:22 PM.My Specs:

Re: Is anyone creating classic players right now?
Thanks youvalss! I don't know who I want to run with--the '96 Bulls (one of my fav teams) or the '92 Bulls (I like BJ's shooting and ability to push the ball over Harper, and I like Horace's offense over Rodman's).
And yeah, Dele was murdered. All accounts point to his brother who killed himself later. Sad story if you look it up--Dele's girlfriend was murdered as well.Comment

Re: Is anyone creating classic players right now?
i can at least get a jump start on creating a few of the missing players since it looks like the cap system hasnt been changed at all from last year. i can take pics from my 2k10 caps to recreate some of the faces of caps i made in last years game and then once i get my copy of 2k11 it will be a really easy re-creation. now if only i had a list of the missing players from the rest of the historic teams.
my first priority when i get my copy is to create the missing players from the historic teams and have them uploaded to 2kshare as soon as possible so people can play the jordan challenges as true to life as they should be.Comment

Re: Is anyone creating classic players right now?
I'll be using Portland's when he releases them. However, I'm pretty sure I'm not going to be patient enough for those rosters initially, so I've already recorded the vitals for all the missing classic players and will be creating them as I progress through the Jordan Challenge. I'm using the playoff rosters of each team when choosing which 12 to include.
I wish I had everyday access to XBox Live.Comment

I knew you would come to the rescue PB!!!
Hey, I was wondering if you would be interested in collaborating with me in doing a classic teams roster for season play this season.
an O.S outsiders special.
01 76ers, 02 nets, etc...all on the one roster. thanks to 2k11s classic teams. a fair amount of the work is done already.
I was thinking you do your magic and create all the players needed, put em in their teams, then I will go under the hood and get them playing and simming right.
Just a thought, I might not even have the time to do it to be honest, but the desire is there.. as I loved playing a full season with a roster of this kind when i did it in 2k9.Comment

Re: Is anyone creating classic players right now?
yeah i could do that, at least for any of the players i have created already on 2k10 that need to be re-created. each player has 18 separate pictures to show all the face sliders so if i post it in a thread it may get very long and cluttered. i might have to upload them all to a site like photobucket and have each player have his own folder or whatever so people can easily navigate and access the specific player they are looking for etc...Comment
