I plan on making something like this for 1 of my offline Associations. Am I missing any of your favorite teams? On the teams with multiple teams which ones would you pick?

360 sorry. Anyone interested in helping this type of association and making it happen! With rosters and teams like this who needs 2k12?! I would be in this for years!

I did a roster of this kind for 2k9 and it was my favourite roster ever.

I set it up so that it was designed for season mode. meaning correct stats and simulations. It was tops.

I did a roster of this kind for 2k9 and it was my favourite roster ever.

I set it up so that it was designed for season mode. meaning correct stats and simulations. It was tops.

Definetly go with the 95 Rockets... Hakeem Clyde Horry etc was a great TEAM to watch play

sorry man. No spreadsheets etc....I just go for it on the fly.
Im hoping to do a comb over more than a full revamp.

If rashidi released a complete roster in the first week or 2 or the game being released. I would use his as a base and adjust certain aspects he ignores to improve association management and simmed stats. [potential, guard reb attributes, shot [to improve players simmed ppg] and commit fouls tendency]

but I got no patience to wait for him to actually have a complete roster.

Ive been thinking of trying to hold out for rashidi and concentrate on a classic team roster when I first get teh game and I may still do that. but the pull to edit the default roster may be too great, as I have done it since basketball games allowed you to.

For my classic roster it will be the 94 rockets. Drexler will be on portland. I try to avoid duplicates.

Ainge is in the game already. I think 8 players rotation is ok the other players had insignificant role on the team maybe + frank johnson to backup KJ and oliver miller

I can't wait! What do you think of the list above? Any teams I am missing that should be put in? This is 1st thing I want in after getting all the generic teams fixed!

These classic teams will be fun to run with. Let me know if you need any help with Sonic teams or any Laker teams. I go back to 79 as far as watching games, so I can get pretty accurate with all those teams as they were my favorites growing up.

I agree that was a great team to watch! I wish that team could have had the chance to play one of Jordans! I think that Rocket team could have got them! Hakeem was in his prime and unstoppable on those playoff runs and Chicago would have had serious problems stopping him!

I like that idea of no duplicates. Unless you went with the 77 Blazers but I liked that rip city early 90 Blazers though. They were deep...

I might be willing to work with you on this set since PB and Nogster seem to want to do more 90's-00 teams, maybe this could be more of a 70's-80's set?

Agreed, Bobcats and Grizzlies should be replaced.

IMO, 90 Cavs were boring...1975 Cavs were better, with Butch Beard, Austin Carr, Campy Russell and Bingo smith. Lost NBA Eastern Conference Finals (4-2) versus Boston Celtics

1973 hawks were better than '90 and had Pistol Pete! Lost NBA Eastern Conference Semifinals (4-2) versus Boston Celtics

Tough not to include the Nuggets with David Thompson, their best player ever.

1980 Suns won 57 with Paul Westphal, Alvan Adams, Truck Robinson, Lost NBA Western Conference Semifinals (4-1) versus Los Angeles Lakers

1975 Buffalo Braves might be better than Clippers. Bob McAdoo, Gar Heard and Ernie D were tough.

Agreed on '95 Rockets were best, but if you have a second team, 1980 Rockets went to 6 games with Celtics in finals and had Moses Malone and 5'9" Cal Murphy
