Re: Hard Fouls?
No flagrants or technicals but using RT(R2) + Right Stick towards offensive player will result in a hard foul this year. -
Re: Hard Fouls?
They look more like intentional fouls to me, unless I'm not doing something right. Right trigger and the right stick is what I'm doing.Comment

Re: Hard Fouls?
R2, plus triangle is usually a pretty tough foul if they are in the paint.."I'm so far ahead of my time, I'm bout to start another life
Look behind you, I'm bout to pass you twice
Back to the future and gotta slow up for the present
I'm fast, dudes can't get past my past
How they supposed to deal with my perfect present?"Comment

Re: Hard Fouls?
When the offensive player is on the ground you get an intentional foul but when he's gathering for a lay-up or dunk you'll get a hard foul.Comment

Re: Hard Fouls?
Just played a couple online games and the hard fouls are classic.
In the one game it was a heated Jazz/Blazers matchup. In the 2nd quarter I actually injured Hayward with a hard foul. Then late in the 4th BRoy blew by Raja and Raja proceeded to body check BRoy when he went up for a layup.
They do work and they are effective. Another good time to use them is when the other guy is on a breakaway. It doesn't seem to result in those horse collar fouls but rather just a nice whack on the arm to prevent the layup.
Basically it seems like if you want, you can avoid giving up a lot of the layups and give up foul shots instead.I won't ask for Christmas or birthday gifts if you subscribe to the Operation Sports Newsletter (Not Just Another Roster Update).
