I don't know if it's a bug, but why is it so easy to score? The game is competitive, but against the CPU on superstar/sim both of us shoot over 60% and score around 35-40 points a quarter.

Looks like 8-10 minute quarters will be the length this year.

But why is this?

I for one have noticed 2 severe, potentially game-breaking glitches in 2K11. 1) My Player is severely broken..Damn near unplayable. I've had TWO My Player seasons freeze nearly at the same point (about 13-15 games into the reg season) After the game is over, it would freeze at the loading screen everytime. Which as a precaution warrants me to save and quit in the 4th QTR just to save my stats. This needs to be fixed PRONTO (in Soulja Boy voice). 2) There is also a glitch with one of the windmill dunks. It'll be clear as day the the ball goes in the rim AND the announcers will confirm you dunked it. But the ball goes in the rim, bounces and usually the other team just grabs it and runs down the court like nothing happened, oh and no 2 Points.

There seems to be a problem with long socks. Eddie House socks should be white but they are actually black and white for some reason.

I have the same bug in my player mode!! i played about 9 game... and now lway when i finished one it crashed in the loading menu before the press conference!!! thats really suck!!!

Is it that hard to make sure a game does not have glitches?

Extremely hard. There's no way to catch everything even with a QA team. If it was easy every game would ship glitch-free.

Some people don't realize that the more advanced games become, the harder it is to do error checking.

If the amount of possible bugs and glitches that could happen were taken into account. We would be waiting years for a game.

Once you fix a glitch or bug, another might just pop up in its place.

I disagree. Software developers always procrastinate to the end (sometimes due to requirements always changing), and don't allow QA enough time to actually do quality testing. Easy solution - public beta release.

Thank you all for your feedback though - I just cancelled my preorder. All I play is My Player and Online - and from what I'm reading, that's where a lot of the posted glitches are found. Even a video on youtube about my player freezing

I'm on my 20th myplayer game without any freezing. I'll post if/when it happens.

Also has anyone that has had the game freeze installed the game to the hard drive?
