Gosh, I hope thats not the case...I can't play a game that isn't installed to my hard drive. My XBOX360 is old and the DVD player runs choppy. Please somebody tell me that were missing something here!

put the game in & goto ur dashboard. under 'recent games played' or wherever it list the games u play (i'm not in front of it so 4give me) click on nba2k11 & it'll give u the option. hope this helps

Weird, I'm almost sure I did install it as I do with every other game while I'm consistently playing it.

I'll check tonight though.

mine installed fine. no probs at all. option was there to install just like any other game.

Thanks - for some reason it wasn't letting me hit Y to install to hard drive. Your advice worked like a charm.

So you can install the game to the Xbox hard drive and no longer need to use the disk?

It's there. There's no option to play from the install though.

The disc needs to be in drive in order for you play the game of the HDD

Dirtyjeez.......it will always play from harddrive now if you.install it they took.the play from harddrive tab out in the last update...so now, when you install just hit play game......boom
