Anyone have a lot of low scoring games on 12 min quarters?

I started my association as the Lakers. I am running on defualt settings, simulation, 12 min quarters. I just got done playing the suns, and the final score was 84-73. The suns only had a 30 % field goal percentage for the game, and 23% from down town.

Considering these two teams I expected the game to be in the 100s. Anyone else running into this?

Well I play on Coach Mode at All-Star/Sim and let the CPU do everything and the problem is they wait until the shot clock gets down to almost 0 every time. I think thats the reason for low scores. I'm experiencing it too.

I'm seeing the same thing. Try playing on default, not simulation, since simulation lowers shooting sliders. Even on default I'm coming up with low scores though, it kinda sucks to not be getting very realistic stats. Not sure how to fix it.

I wonder if just upping the tempo for all coach styles would solve the issue.

Haha yup I'm getting man handled on all star sim. I just dropped it down to pro, and I won but the score was pretty bad. I was the Celtics playing the Magic and I won 72-65 on 12 minute quarters.

I ran about 7 games on the 360. All-stars Sim. Adjusted the 3-point slider to 47 for both user and CPU. 12min quarter usually get me in the high 90's to low 100's. Rebound is a tad high at around 43 per. But I was running and gunning like crazy. I normally play at a snail pace. I just wanted to cheese the heck out of the game as much as possible first. That's how I can come up with a wishlist.

So I switched to default instead of sim and now the stats look somewhat realistic. I was playing golden state with the Lakers and won 90-70. Still low in my opinion, but better. Any other ideas?

I only played one 48 minute game but it does seem like Sim is very hard. Final score was 90-66.

Golden State 70 pts is not better lol. I'm assuming they have Nellie coach profile and plays.

Should be 120+ over 100-110 or something like that, imo.

Trust me you may be scoring low pts iwth 12min right now but once you figure this game out 12min qtrs you will be scoring unreal amount of pts. I am playing with 8 right now and avg maybe 8-10pts lower than RL scores but I am playing with the Hornets CP3 has been out for 2+ games and now Ariza is out for 2-3 weeks.

Trust me you may be scoring low pts iwth 12min right now but once you figure this game out 12min qtrs you will be scoring unreal amount of pts. I am playing with 8 right now and avg maybe 8-10pts lower than RL scores but I am playing with the Hornets CP3 has been out for 2+ games and now Ariza is out for 2-3 weeks.

What about the CPU. What do their scores look like?

Scores look good higher than mine of course. More like on avg 5-8 pts lower than normal. But then again you do see some 105+ games here and there every week.

But for me I dont have time to play 12min qtrs so losing just a 8-10pts on avg here and there doesnt really bother me. And to be honest in the long run the avg loss will probably be more like 5-8.

I am getting realistic results in 12 minute for the first time EVER. I can't belive how accurately they captured the tempo and action on the court this year. I play Sim/Superstar(360).

No I mean the CPU in the games you play in? Are they close to your total of points. Here is the thing, if I am gonna put the time in to play 12 minute quarters (I played 10 last year and got realistic numbers) I want the stats to be realistic. For the Lakers to be scoring 80-85 points a game the stats are not going to look right compared to the simmed stats for my association. I am hoping someone will have figured out some sliders or something to fix this?
