CPU vs CPU Sliders (Spectator Mode)-Madden 11

I have been testing these sliders out for about a month and i do believe that i have arrived at my final slider set for spectator mode games. i also have a thread open titled jhorns madden 11 sliders if anyone wants to look at them, but be warned that i have not yet tested the player side of it as i have been steadily testing just the cpu sliders. my idea is to get the cpu sliders good first so that i can have good spectator mode games and then start testing the player side without changing the cpu sliders at all. this way i can have a good slider set for spectator mode and player mode without having to change anything. for those that like to watch matchups or maybe even stage a tournament of some sort, or perhaps if u just want to play general manager and just build your team then watch them perform without any intervention from the player, then u are going to love these sliders. of course i love to actually play the game too, but i am a big fan of having a simulation type game without human intervention and i think these sliders will do a good job at that. these sliders are producing good stats for me and some games have actually been cool to watch some of it. (of course i dont sit and watch every single game while it is testing, im basically just looking at the stats for the most part.) So what these sliders become are simulation type sliders, meaning u can put any team against any team and the 2 teams will play to their strengths according to how they are rated in the game. player sliders are more difficult to get right due to the fact that everyone has their own playing style and what works for me might not work for u too good, so i can not vouge for my player sliders on my other post but these here are excellent in cpu vs cpu games. i dont anticipate changing these too much. some games have been high scoring but i have also seen a game go 3-3 at the half before. i know this type of mode isnt for everyone but im sure there are other fans of simulation type football out there who would like to give these a try.

    Madden 11 Spectator Mode Sliders

    Game Options

    QTR - 15 Min
    ACC Clock - 25 Sec
Injuries (Unfortunately players can not get hurt in spectator mode, so therefore it does not matter what you put this at no player will ever get hurt, even if injuries are at the max 100. This was the same in Madden 10 and i was hoping they would fix that in this one but they didnt.)
    Fatigue - 70
    Games Speed - Slow
    Speed Threshold - 0

    Auto Subs Out/In

    QB - 40/41
    RB - 70/71
    WR - 70/71
    FB/TE - 70/71
    OL - 50/60

    DT - 75/76
    DE - 70/71
    LB - 70/71
    CB - 60/61
    S- 65/66

    Penalties
All 100 except Holding, Facemask, and Clipping are at 54, and False Start is at 60.

    AI

    QB Accuracy - 58
    Pass Blocking - 51
    WR Catching - 42

    Broken Tackles - 100
    Run Blocking - 85
    Fumbles - 60

    Pass Reaction - 33
    Interceptions - 23
    Pass Rushing - 65

    Run Reaction - 48
    Block Shedding - 50
    Tackling - 0

    FG Power - 19
    FG Accuracy - 50
    Punt Power - 85
    Punt Accuracy - 100
    Kickoff Power - 89

Special teams sliders will no doubt be too high for the human, which is another thing that i was hoping they would fix with this years game and they didnt, which is put special teams sliders separate from player to cpu.

      Hi,

I'm a huge fan of CPU vs CPU also...
Just a quick hint on injuries. Select to control a team, then switch the controller to the middle after the kickoff. This'll give you injuries....works everytime...just be patient and you'll see!

Oh! And is this for Xbox360 or playstation3?

yea i was aware that u could do this but i wasnt sure if i did that if it would use the user sliders or revert back to using cpu sliders for both teams. this is something that i use to do in past maddens as well.

i had an idea that it might work good if u put these sliders in the cpu settings and then just use my skill and play about 10 games or so, so that the computer has a good lock on your skill level. just an idea though until i can actually test out the player sliders.

Good point....never thought of that.....I'll have to test that myself later.

            Cheers

I've tried that before and have had mixed results....nothing consistent.

Thanks for these sliders. I'll give them a try! I'm a long time CPU vs CPU player. That is the only way I play Madden...hah! I'd love to see some game stats you're seeing.

                Thanks again!

thanks for trying them out. good offenses tend to score too much but all in all it looks pretty good. im letting the cpu play out the first week in franchise mode to get a 16 game average. i will post results when done.

These do not work for me. I tried them in the first game of the season. It was 42-38 before half time. Way too much offense.

yea this is because the first game is new orleans vs minnesota, which are 2 good offenses. i have seen some games that end like 14-7. what i have found in this game is that the cpu has a super comeback mode that it gets into when it is behind. while they are in this "2 min drill" all of their players suddenly play like pro bowlers and they tend to score quick. well if by them scoring it puts the other team behind then the other team will all of a sudden get into super comeback mode and will also score really quick and the cycle will continue for the rest of the game. i even looked at one of the games scoring summary and 1 team alone scored 28 points in the 4th qtr alone. up until then it was actually a close game. this is something that is messed up within the game itself and can not be fixed with sliders. the only way to really fix it would be to take the qtr length down, but then your play count would be too low along with other things. so anyway i have basically given up on this game and got ncaa football 11, and it plays way smoother then madden as it usually does. plus the online features of it are just way better. i have started playing with playmaker's sliders and made a few tweaks, but it is really a good football game. i think overall madden 11 is too, but i have just always felt that ncaa just felt better to me.

Hey YO! what they need to do iz auto sub the second string, and that should eliminate every thing about sliders.

auto subs are separate sliders in the game u still need to get your gameplay sliders down.

Hey guys, these sliders look great and im gonna put these on my franchise im gonna start later today. What im gonna do is just switch to middle at kickoff, which i think was already mentioned, and then make the user sliders the same as the cpu sliders so that if it does revert to the user sliders for the team the player was controlling at kickoff, its the same as if it didnt. So, thanks for the sliders, and make sure to check out my chicago bears dynasty.
