I would like to strike from the record my previous post about the absurdity of 6 unbeaten teams after the Con.f Championship games. Not that I don't stand by my statements, but the game has one-upped me.

At the end of my 2016 season (I am SMU and finished 12-1 with a 57-14 loss to Nebraska in Wk. 1) there are not 6 unbeatens, but SEVEN! 7! SIEBEN!

Final BCS standings are as follows (pre-bowl games):
1. Ohio State, 12-0, 1.000
2. LSU, 13-0, .994
3. Miami, 13-0, .989 (2nd straight year at 13-0 and No. 3)
4. Texas, 13-0, .981
5. West Virginia, 12-0, .978 (2nd straight year at 12-0)
6. Boise State, 12-0, .963
7. Alabama, 11-1, .961
8. Michigan, 11-1, .956
9. TCU, 12-0, .955

12. SMU, 12-1, .933 (Liberty Bowl, baby!)

BOWLS
Liberty Bowl: SMU 16, Cincinnati 0

This is starting to get irritating because it keeps me out of being a BCS-buster. Not that I need to win a title, but a shot at a BCS bowl would be nice. Even undefeated I have no shot because of Conf. strength.
