I honestly haven't enjoyed a football game since NFL 2k5, in fact my interest in the NFL has gone down about 85% since then, other life factors have played a part but the Games always kept me connected to the players. It's been a disappointment, specifically those first few next gen Madden games. -
If this comes to fruition this can be a big step for the NFL in the collective bargaining agreement. As far as EA Sports is concerned they should go to MLB and do the same for baseball as we need a new game for baseball. Let the competition and game wars begin. We need this. He's a complicated man, that no one understands him except his woman!Comment

i am for NFL 2K13 just as much as the next person, but everyone talks about how NBA 2K11 should help 2K sports no one has mentioned that 2K sports has the baseball license and look at what kind of baseball game they put out every year. So as much as NBA 2K11 will help 2K sports, their MLB games could hurt themComment

Please let this come true. It's been four years since I have played a football game long term. After seeing what VC has done with NBA 2K11 and MLB 2K10, I have no doubt that they would make a superb football game.Originally posted by jim416You are the 2k Police. :)Comment

Lets just hope if 2k gets the green light to make 2k13, it happens soon. It has taken almost a decade for NBA2k11 to get where it is now. You think all our expectations would be meet in the first year of NFL 2ks release on this gen of consoles? We play 2k games for sig styles, thousands upon thousands of animations, deep franchise modes, sim gameplay, and amazing presentation. For all that to be in NFL 2k13 would seem impossible if work hasn't been done already by 2k.Comment

Re: 2K Sports Has Already Approached NFL About NFL 2K13 Licensing Deal
To me, it's six straight years of disappointment. At first, I would purchase the next-gen versions of Madden, every year, only to end up trading the next-gen version in for the current gen version. In 2007 I traded it in for 2k8, but I also got rid of my regular xbox. I simply got tired of current gen,or last gen, Madden.I honestly haven't enjoyed a football game since NFL 2k5, in fact my interest in the NFL has gone down about 85% since then, other life factors have played a part but the Games always kept me connected to the players. I had more fun with Head Coach 09 than Madden 09. I didn't really play it, at all, and I ended up,ironically,re-purchasing APF. For the past three years I've been forcing myself to play the new Madden; then I get tired of it, realize it's crap, and go back to APF.
The exclusive deal must end.
That was years ago. I think they've learned a thing or two about a thing or two.Last edited by LiquorLogic; 10-08-2010, 12:18 PM.Comment

If they get word on the decision by the end of the year they could have almost two years to work on it which would improve the chances of it being even greater.ESPN NFL 2K5 GREATEST FOOTBALL GAME EVER!

At the very least, I hope they get a deal done with the players union. Being able to put all the real players into a new All Pro Football game would be just fine with me. I just want some new football games.Comment
