Hello, I haven't posted anything on this forum in awhile but am a constant viewer. I was wondering if anyone else is having trouble defending the post one on one? I know I can bring others over to help, but if I have a good post defender I don't feel the need too. Btw i'm playing on superstar sim mode, and I switched between the different levels of difficulty and it seems to be a universal problem for me. Any suggestions? Thx in advance.

You have to know when to use the aggressive defense button. Play behind a post player regular, then when they make a basketball move push the aggressive D button, dont just hold it down, just press it when ever they make a move like to shoot or drive to the basket. -

the key to defending the post is the move toward him when he makes his move...you have to move the left stick toward toward him and press block to really affect his shot. if you don't move the left stick properly, you won't jump in the right direction and won't affect the shot.Comment

Don't bite on fakes. Get used to reading when the guy is actually shooting, and just try to get and hand up and hopefully block it. The computer can be tricky with their fakes in the post.Comment
