What level do you play on?

I'm currently playing with the Kings and Wizards in my Association Year 1. I'm having trouble finding a good difficulty level to play on.

On All-Star, I get blown out by the top teams, lose in close games to the middle-of-the-pack teams, but can usually win against the bottom third.

On Pro, I absolutely destroy everyone but the Lakers, Celtics, Heat.

It's gotten to the point where I play on pro against those top teams, and on All-Star against the rest of the league. Any suggestions? What works for you?

Has to be sim, but allstar is too hard for me right now, so pro sim is perfect, i jsut won my first game beating kings with mavs by 3!!!

I think I'm going to try out Pro/sim. I've had a very tough time on All-Star/sim.

Once I become better I will move up.

What is the difference between sim and default exactly? I've always just played on default.

Basically just go into the sliders and you'll see. It's built in tweaks that make it the simulation mode.

Basically it's tougher to score & penetrate. It tightens up everything where you truly need to execute.

Gotcha. Thanks man. I'll definitely stick to default for now.

I play on Sim All Star. I'm starting to get too good so I'm going to bump it up. I beat the celtics by 15 last night. I was the wizards.

I use Pro/Sim setting. I've only played one game in my season (w/ fantasy draft) so far and I won by 11 pts. It was a very low scoring game IMO, but it was close (within 4-5 pts) until halfway thru the fourth, then the AI fell apart and I pulled away. My biggest lead was 17 with about 2:00 left.

FWIW, my team was ranked 5th overall and opponent was ranked 8th overall.

pro sim. Any other level will drive me insane.

Pared taught me this lesson a few years ago lol

play on pro to get a handle of the game and then move up to all-star which is the true sim level anything higher would be just for the challenge.
