Possible Workaround for My Player Freezing

UPDATE: This technique WORKS!!! I have played 20 games in the NBA now and there hasn't been any signs of crashing etc. My Player mode is fun! The trick is simply play until the 4th quarter then save and quit while a player is inbounding the ball while you are in the game then load the file and continue turn off the autosave feature forever.

Hi guys, I have now played 11 games in My Player and the freezing problem came out after around 6 to 8 games in the NBA. Now I have completed 11 games. Good thing was that I had backup copies of my save file.

If this works for about 30 games, I think it is safe to assume that this method works.

    Now try this.

    1) Assume you are saving your My Player career file as (MyPlayer)
    2) Turn off autosave feature.
    3) Then everytime you play a game... wait until the 3rd or 4th quarter... wait until you are in the game and a player on either team is INBOUNDING the ball (before the inbound pass - when one of your players is holding the ball at the corner). Then save and quit to ANOTHER save file (e.g. MyPlayer2).

    4) Load that ANOTHER save file (MyPlayer2) then continue to play. Then I think you'll be able to complete the game and answer in the post game conference and finally return back to the my player menus.

    5) After successfully finishing the game, save your file as (MyPlayer)
    6) Never turn on the autosave feature.

I have tried this 2-3 times already and it works. Please try and confirm if this works forever

I think the freezing problems occur only if your player is in the NBA and I have never heard of anyone having freezing problems before getting drafted. I think the freezing problem occurs because there is a problem regarding the saving of the state of the current game. That's why when you load it, the state of the game if unknown and the error occurs. Well this is just my theory.

Hey i did this and it worked for 3 games but then it started to freeze again! am i suppose to save and quit a certain time in the 4th quarter? like when you just come in off the bench or is it just when your inbounding the ball? and do i save it to another file all the time or just the same My player2 all the time. this workaround worked for 3 games and now it freezes non stop after games
