    Best Pass Defense

Does anyone have any advice for what defenses work best against 4 and 5-wide formations where the offense is looking to throw ~10 yards downfield?

By no means am I an expert, (I have trouble defending the pass too) but the only thing that seems to work for me is blitzing with 1-2 corners from the Dime package. My only chance is to sack the QB before he throws the ball.

I am able to guard both of these fairly well with the 3-2-6 defense, with my Man Coverage and Zone Coverage both on Aggresive. Using LSU btw.

I think bringing heat is the only real answer. If your any good at hot routing you defenders you can cover any area but in this game as in real football you give the QB too long he will find an open receiver. And the O-line blocking on this game is so good it's hard to get the heat you need. Practice moving some blitzing defenders around to find which gaps you can bring heat from. Dont count on the basic blitz package to work because the AI is designed to pick these up.

3-3-5 all day. Any time I line up on a 3 and 8+ and see 3-3-5 Defense, I prepare to punt/kick a field goal. It's hard to predict where the linebackers are going, and the safeties are usually playing at the 1st down marker.
