Re: Lan's Boston Bruins

Bruins Off on the Wrong Foot

Prague (AP) - Things really could not have gotten off to a worse start for the Bruins here in Prague. A loss on opening night obviously stings, but it would only be minor compared to the loss sustained not even a minute into the game. Bruins winger Nathan Horton, who was acquired in the offseason along with Greg Campbell for Dennis Wideman, collapsed in a a heap after getting drilled in the leg by an Ed Jovanoski point shot. Things did not look good for Horton was he was unable to get off the ice under his own power. X-rays later revealed a broken leg. The injury is expected to keep the winger out for at least a month.

The Bruins, as a result, will already have to shuffle their already mixed and matches lines. Blake Wheeler will move up to the Krejci line with Milan Lucic, while the Bruins will dress Daniel Paille, who was previously scratched to begin the season, and place him in Wheeler's spot on the Seguin line with Ryder.

The B's will face off tomorrow in the second game of a back to back here in Prague against the Coyotes. Tim Thomas is expected to be between the pipes.
