I'm Pissed and I need a definitive answer!
I just finished my 3rd game in my bulls season and I have clutch factor on. and every game in the 4th quarter the cpu just kicks my ***. Don't get me wrong I absolutely love 2K11 and 2k sports really has made a huge improvement over last years version but I need to know if this clutch factor actually turns the cpu into superman in the 4th quarter.....I have no problem leaving it on because my games have been neck and neck and very fun but I dont wanna be at some huge disadvantage because the game decided to give the cpu a huge advantage in the 4th......Please someone give me the definitive answer!

one more thing, the stats have been spot on without any slider modifications for me and I dont wanna screw up the stats.....I would like to run the game the same all the way through, please let me know what you think about the clutch factor! -

No. I believe the Clutch slider effects shots at the buzzer and with a little time left. It has nothing to do with comebacks.Comment

Wasn't there a sink/swim option last year? Or maybe that was a different game entirely. Anyway, you could look for that or maybe just lower the difficulty?Comment

Re: I'm Pissed and I need a definitive answer!
considering the engine is probably based off of COLLEGE HOOPS 2K..
let me tell you, clutch factor is more harmful than good
if you do play with it on..
turn it down to like 33 or something
college hoops vets know quite well the evil that is clutch factorComment

Re: I'm Pissed and I need a definitive answer!
ok buzzer shots only, no friggin way! I see the cpu consistently scoring 10 plus more points in the 4th quarter than any other quarter consistently and sometimes even a lot more....this is my only issue with this game!Comment

Re: I'm Pissed and I need a definitive answer!
Just turn down clutch factor some until you feel it where it needs to be. My understanding of clutch factor is helps guys hit shots a critical times. So if that the case it should help teams with comebacks. 2k8 it was that way from what i have notice. I have not adjusted it just yet but it probably should be turned down 5 or 10 clicks.I just finished my 3rd game in my bulls season and I have clutch factor on. and every game in the 4th quarter the cpu just kicks my ***. They don't even use that engine anymore, they stopped using that engine last year.Comment

Ok I will lower it but how do you think turning it off all together will affect the game?

Personally I don't like turning stuff like that off. I feel i might hve a unfair advantage. Just play around with it until you feel comfortable with the game. I have not touch it yet as i have had 2 real good game on all star with my Pacers. Lost by like 16 to the spurs and 2 to the Bobcats.Comment

maybe you should save it after the 3rd and then play the 4th with different sliders (if that's possible)Get that weak stuff outta here!Comment
