    Height & Weight Changes

I have noticed that many players an weights seem slightly off. Please discuss if you find and players who's height and weight are listed wrong.

Currently I use NBA.com to find the correct height and weights but I search I around first before making definite changes. Here are some I found.

    Chris Bosh was listed-6'10 230 Nba.com have him listed as 6'11 235.
Mario Chalmers - change to 6'2
Kevin Durant - change weight to 215lbs to 230lbs.
Roy Hibbert - Is listed at 278 but I been reading some sites that said he lost at least 23 pounds. He does look slimmer than last season.
    Eric Gordon - 222lbs to 215lbs
    Craig Smith - 250lbs to 265lbs.

There is more but I will post later if I have time.

Doesn't this change their pre-set body types?

yes it does. You might make a 6´11, 260 guy to a 6´11, 240 player and he´ll have a thicker build.

Eddy Curry showed up to camp 325 and they won't him to get down to 305.

Joakim Noah put on 5-6lbs of muscle.

No disrespect intended but, if your looking at NBA.com in search of correct heights weights etc, you choose pretty much the worst possible resource.

Try draftexpress.com for actual heights (in shoes/no shoes etc). Seriously.

PS: Also, you really shouldnt touch the weights unless you can do so without changing the preset body forms. Everyone will look like the incredible hulk. I would only advise this for the players that actually ARE widebody's.

ex. Craig Smith, Jameer Nelson, Nate Robinson, Eddie Curry, James Johnson, Boris Diaw type dudes.

Does anybody know what weight Rasheed was at with the Celtics last season? Every source I've seen says 230 but I don't believe it.

Between 245 and 255, they said him showed up to camp about 15lbs over weight and out of shape...

Rasheed Wallace hasnt been 230 since his 1st or 2nd year in the league. Dude has been in the 250-260 range for years nows. Id say in boston he was at least 260.

To give you an idea of what a 230 pound 6-11 to 7-footer looks like, Joakim Noah weighed in at 227 at the combine after leaving the Gators.

Thanks, this is my best guess as well. Its ridiculous that every single source I've seen, including the draftexpress.net mentioned earlier this thread, list Sheed at either 225 or 230, even in Boston. You'd figure that at least one person would have caught this and tried to correct it somehow.

NBA.com is NOTORIOUS for this. Actually for the most part most NBA teams never change "listed weights".

Ive seen some players have the same "listed" weight from the time they were rookies until the day they retired.

Dontre Green for instance was "listed" at 6-11 at Syracuse, when they measured him during the combine he was 6-8 1/2 and 6-9 IN SHOES, Low and behold, hes listed as 6-11 in the NBA.

Editing weight makes no diference guys. You have to go below a certain limit for a player to get either enormously bigger, or much smaller. Sometimes if you deduct a pound, the player with gain or lose an entire body size. I don't know why seemingly every sport gaming company has this issue with player builds
