I'm happy to see this. When did these come out? Today?
I played earlier in an Association so it played just like it had been.

Re: Third Roster Update fixed gameplay?
Well if they could fix this in *Association
-The reported home court advantage bug
-dito with draft classes causing issues with trading a few years in
-Recruit ratings are jacked up in Association
-HCA bug is causing blowouts in playoffs 143-76 sim? wtf?????
That would be swellComment

All I need is smoother catch and shoot sequences and for the quick coaching menus to STAY ON TOP (nothing more frustrating than the menus constantly disappearing for no reason when you're trying to make quick changes online).Comment

Re: Third Roster Update fixed gameplay?
just downloaded them. excited to see if the changes talked about in the link are true. any issues i have with the game were mentioned, so hopefully it's not just a placebo effect.
but what about my superstar and my player mode? are we going to have to start all over to see changes? or is there a way to use the current rosters in these modes? luckily, i've only done a few drills in the legend mode, so i won't lose much there.Last edited by blklightning; 10-13-2010, 09:49 PM.My score for Madden 13: 4.5/10
3 points for graphics, 1 point for the passable commentary, and a half point for the boxart. I can give no further points since the all over the place gameplay would ruin it anyway.Comment

The changes I noticed is that it is now EXTREMELY easy to get by your defender, and I am playing on Superstar/Sim. On the ball defensive contact and the general reactions of the defenders seem to be slower. All it takes is a simple crossover... no need for in-depth knowledge of isomotion. I don't like these changes at all.Comment

NOOOOO say it aint so, seriously i may not dl a patch for this game the whole year I like it so much. or at least till it gets some good feed back from reliable OSersThe changes I noticed is that it is now EXTREMELY easy to get by your defender, and I am playing on Superstar/Sim. Thats how it should be. All of that bumping the player on the perimeter is unrealistic and doesnt happen in the NBA. Most players can get to a spot whenever they want. The thing that stops them from dominating off the dribble is help D. There is usually always help d there to stop a ballhandler from getting all the way to the rack in the real NBA.The changes I noticed is that it is now EXTREMELY easy to get by your defender, and I am playing on Superstar/Sim. Re: Third Roster Update fixed gameplay?
I disagree. And this is why there are Game Styles. I thought Game Styles would put an end to these discussions permanently since it allows each person to play at the style the find most suitable. To make a sort of core change that completely dumbs down the defense, collisions and general gameplay across the board is quite disheartening and unfair. There are numerous people who loved the game as it was. Those who found it too difficult could always adjust gamestyle and difficulty. At the lower levels, collisions are very minimal.Thats how it should be. All of that bumping the player on the perimeter is unrealistic and doesnt happen in the NBA.
