It's not a dumb question, this is not intuitive unless you've played NBA2K before (which we both haven't it looks like).

    - Tap the LB/L1 button
    - Don't press any buttons yet, but find the player you want to pass to
    - When you've found that player, press the button of that player AND hold the direction of the cut you want them to move towards on the LS

They should then move a little towards that direction.

The lead pass towards the basket, doesn't seem to work when pointing in the direction of the basket UNLESS that teammate is moving (this is the only way I've been able to see that lead pass to the basket made).

How do you do Rondo's signature fake move, and the signature moves of other players (such as Kobe's turnaround jumper)?

Rondo's signature move is simply his spin layup

I think you just hit triangle (ps3) while the sticks are in the neutral postion, but I can't remember excatly right now, (away from the game.)

Is there such a thing as a "bullett pass" for the 360?

When on offense in my player mode is it supposed to show you what play has been called and the play art for your position ?

I play with the Warriors and after getting a rebound and hitting Curry or Ellis with the outlet pass they always pause when they catch the ball (even though they are running before the ball comes) which allows the defense to catch up and get back...is there any way to avoid this from happening or is this 2k's way of cutting down the fast breaks?

Why don't you play on Pro Sim style and then when you get to good at that level bump it up from there. I think you are tying to play at a master level when you have only had the game a week. It is okay to play on Pro, I still am.

I'm curious as to why this year we have to hold down both triggers to back down someone in the post? I liked in the past when you just had to hold LT. Now, with both hands tied to the triggers, it makes passing out of the post a little harder.

Also, it makes backing someone down harder b/c if you don't time it right, your players will just make a quick move to the basket.

Does anyone know how you get a non-point guard player to bring up the ball on offense, without manually switching to him and bring him up?

Like how Lebron will automatically be ready to bring up the ball by default. How do you edit or create players to do this? I've been searching but haven't found the answer.

                            1) when playing defense, how do you "stick" to the CPU? the CPU can always "stick" to me, even in mid-court and forcing me to have a backcourt violation, but when i stand in front of a CPU, they still move normally, even when i press L for "intense D". by the way i cant even tell what intense D does. it doesnt seem to help at all.

                            2) i have "shot timing help" on but i notice there is no guide/result for baby hooks and other point blank shots. do they have a release timing?

                            3) on fast break, i am sooo tired of either a) my lead runner STOPPING when receiving the pass (even when I am holding the L stick towards the basket), allowing the CPU to catch up and totally defeating the purpose of a fast break, and b) my lead runner not even getting the pass at all since the CPU has intecepted it. any ways to fix these problems?

anyone want to quickly explain pick and rolls to me? they don't always happen when i call for them, and i don't really know how to use them effectively when i do get one to actually set up.
My score for Madden 13: 4.5/10

3 points for graphics, 1 point for the passable commentary, and a half point for the boxart. I can give no further points since the all over the place gameplay would ruin it anyway.

once you post up, you can let go of the triggers.
