Great job on these man...I was a little worried about user fg% with these but at least for the game I played it was cool. I shot 49% and cpu shot 46% as the Blazers against the Magic respectively. The game felt great overall, and every stat was in line with where it should be. Sorry for not writing down stats but just know that I think I found my set for the year.

Thanks for posting these, mk. Going to test them out this weekend. Like you, I was using jd's excellent sliders, but was using shot-stick as well.

I've looked at most of the sliders. I can't for the life of me figure out why you guys are slowing the game down. I have my sliders speed setting at 60.

I finally feel like I can move. The animations aren't taking forever. When I hit a button I get an immediate reaction.

Now the game feels like 2k instead of the ice skating of the old NBA Live.

My feet actually feel like they are on the ground.

Definitely going to try this out tomorrow morning. I've been using JD's sliders which play AMAZING, but I absolutely hate the "Real Player %" setting. I've been shooting around 42%-45% which is fine, but my players constantly miss wide open shots when I know I've shot the ball perfectly with the shot stick. It's so frustrating. Besides that, every other stat has been pretty much in line with JD's sliders.

I'll post some stats tomorrow, thanks for this set.

these are the best sliders out. awesome job. don't change a single thing unless a patch forces you to.

i played these last night and i love them. however, instead of using the default rosters (cause i kept seeing the same stupid missed shots/too many missed free throws on the cpu's part), i downloaded the top rated user roster that's on there now (i forget the name now, but i remember it was called "MICHAEL JORDAN"-something) and it plays really, really great.

like gary said, you don't need any edits, unless of course 2K releases a patch and messes things up.

Just played a game in my Association (Heat vs Nets [me]) and got decent results (44% to 56% shooting). A few numbers that were disconcerting:

88 total free throws taken due to 57 total team fouls (most of the shooting variety)
Brook Lopez almost had a Dantley (where someone scores over half of their points from the free throw line.

Almost everything that generated a contact animation drew a foul, to the point where almost every time Brook Lopez did a move in the paint, he drew a foul from Chris Bosh (who fouled out after 8 minutes of total play). Granted my plan was to go right at him, so this may be an outlier of a game, but I'll keep an eye on it. Fouls seem too high right now.

Fouls are hit or miss. There are some games where I seemingly put the cup every trip down, and there are games where less fouls are called. Play a few more games and then see, b/c every game is different with this year's game.

Same with the deflected passes for the play the passing lanes slider. If you have this set to at least 40, if you make a careless pass, it will be deflected at the very least. some games there are more than others.

the "issues" that some you are seeing are easy fixes.

- lower the contact slider a click or two (for too many "and ones"

- lower the shooting sliders by one or two clicks for using shooting

I'm not going to make global changes here as I hate when sliders keep getting adjusted by the second. But I feel the base is solid, so tweak away to fit your own needs.

I haven't played this game in 3 or 4 days (on an NHL 11 kick currently) but I'll get into it once the regular season & roster cutdowns have taken place. But I feel good about this slider set and my thanks to JD and the guys at his thread for all their feedback.

I put these sliders in last night, along with the mkharsh33 roster, everything seemed to be pretty awesome.
Going to test them all day today and possibly start my association.

Sim/All-Star is completely unfair for the cpu, Sim/Pro is completely unfair for the user...these seem to be pretty straight forward and fair for both sides.

Plus the shot stick timing makes hitting open shots feel amazing.
