Re: What does solid playing time mean exactly? Recruiting promises
I have never figured this one out either. I lean towards starting them though, or top backup at a position where there is two starters like wideout, DT, DE, OLB, or CB. Guess it depends on what formations you run and defensive scheme. -

Your recruit needs to be listed #1 on the depth chart. He doesn't have to play any downs, he just needs to be listed #1 on the depth chart.
If you put him #1 on depth chart and then at the beginning of every game just before kick off, you move him to the bottom of depth chart (every game), he'll never see the field, and you'll fulfill the promise.Comment

Thanks i will try that. I may play him a bit though. But that sounds good.Your recruit needs to be listed #1 on the depth chart. He doesn't have to play any downs, he just needs to be listed #1 on the depth chart.

That is an awesome idea. Thanks, that helps me with a great recruiting tool for my up-and-coming Tulane team...if I could get the damn game to stop freezingYour recruit needs to be listed #1 on the depth chart. He doesn't have to play any downs, he just needs to be listed #1 on the depth chart.
