More Players Need To Be Assigned As Star Of Their Team

Maybe this can help out with star players getting traded. I think recent #1 picks need to be assigned as Star. Wall and Blake. As well as up and coming players like Rondo and Rudy Gay. I think most teams have someone that is somewhat untouchable. I would label certain people stars if they are essentially untouchable and not using it just for star players. Here is the list, you can dispute them if you want.

I think you should take it upon yourself to change it year by year within your association. But going into the first year here are my changes.

    76ers
    Turner
    Iguodola

    Hawks
    Smith
    Johnson

    Bulls
    Rose
Boozer (Since he just got traded)

    Mavs
    Dirk

    Nuggets
    Melo Anthony

    GSW
    Curry

    Rockets
    Yao

    Pacers
Collison (Since he just got there)

    Clippers
    Aminu
    Gordon
    Griffin

    Lakers
    Kobe
    Pau
    Bynum

    Grizzlies
    Gay
    OJ Mayo

    Heat
    Bosh
    Wade
    LeBron

    Bucks
    Bogut
    Jennings

    Wolves
    Johnson

    Nets
    Lopez
    Favors

    Hornets
    CP3

    Knicks
    Amare
Felton (Still kind of torn on this one. But since he is an above average player that just got traded.)

Thunder: This team is kind of tricky because I feel they are a team that will try to use the Spurs approach an work their way up through the draft and not through free agency. So I kind of think that their top 5 young players are untouchable. I think Jeff Green can get traded at any team though.
    Durant
    Westbrook
    Harden
    Ibaka

    Magic
    Dwight

    Suns
    Nash

    Blazers
    Roy
Oden (Because I don't think anyone would take him)

    Kings
    Cousins
    Evans

    Spurs
    Manu
    TD
    Parker

    Raptors
    DeRozan
    Ed Davis

    Jazz
    Deron
    Jefferson (He just got traded)

    WIzard
McGee (People view him as the future with Wall)

Favors isn't a star nor is he an untouchable.

Also add Aaron Brooks, Danny Granger.

Felton isn't above average.. Bobcats would have kept him. He also wasn't traded, he was signed.

Curry is a beast for the Warriors, I am thinking about making him my "star", though what does designating a star do?, more minutes and more money?

Aminu is not untouchable. Only Gordon and Griffin are.

If you are playing without team chemistry, making them a "star" just increases their trade value, correct? If that's the case then I'd say there are probably around 50+ players that I would consider "untouchables" in terms of how likely their teams are to trade them. But close to half of those guys are prospects so adding the "star" label seems a little strange; however, if it helps trade logic I'm all for it.

Only problem with this is that it WILL alter your dynamic attendance....I control all teams so I actually went and removed some "star" roles from Tyreke Evans and some others. Yes he is a star in the making but cities that are known for not showing up to games wont make that trip for Reke either. They show up for the Kobe Bryants, Lebron, etc.

if you don´t like a trade, just reverse it via a 3-way-trade (trade override ON) and you´re good

Another alternative would be to give those players a no trade clause in edit player. So like someone said earlier you would leave the star roles for players like kobe, lebron, and melo. The no trade clause would be for guys you know aren't moving for the year (ex. boozer, a.jefferson, etc.) or soon to be stars in your association (ex. turner, jennings, w.johnson).

This prevents the players you know aren't moving from going any where.
