Re: Guess Who's Back? (NBA 2k11-Create A Legend Mode)

August 7th, 2010 - How likely of a destination is Indiana for Michael Jordan? It's an odd pick by him and his staff, for sure. But if you take a deeper look at their roster, it could be quite a good place fit for MJ. Indiana doesn't seem very likely - because most fan votes will probably be for the Cavs, who need a new hero, and the Knicks, who play in a huge market and despite recent failures, are an extremely popular team.

However, lets take a look at the Pacers roster with MJ included and see how he could fit in and help the team.

PG: Darren Collison
SG: Michael Jordan
SF: Danny Granger
PF: Tyler Hansbrough
C: Roy Hibbert

The 1-3 spots in this lineup look extremely solid. Darren Collison was a great backup to Chris Paul, and he should put up decent numbers as a starter, at the very least. PG has been a weak position for the Pacers for a while now, so there's hopes in the organization that Collison will help take the offense to a new level. Danny Granger has had a great start to his career so far, and he has potential to become one of the best forwards in the league. He's one of the most underrated and overlooked players in the game, simply because he plays for a fairly unpopular team like Indiana.

Power forward and Center stick out as the weakest positions here. But if Jordan were to join the team, the combination of Collison, Jordan, and Granger could be effective and take an average Pacers team to the next level. They could be competitive for a few years.

Most Likely Destinations for Jordan
  1. Cleveland Cavaliers
  2. New York Knicks
  3. Indiana Pacers
