Best way is to search for video game stores near your place and see if any one of them repair discs. With the xbox, if you save your game to the hd the disc can be somewhat scratched but it runs fine. Maybe if you have a friend with a non-scratched version, you can d/l it to your hd and see if that works with your disc.

did you get a guarantee with it? If so you can get a replacement from eb games. Thats what i do.

Just buy a used one from gamestop and do the ol' switch--o--roo after about three days. They have a seven money back return policy on used games. You must check your morals at the door though, lol.

Just get some 3,000 grit sandpaper (or higher), put some water and dawn soap on the disc, and rub the disc with the sandpaper. It will make the disc look cloudy, as if you ruined it, but it'll take the scratch out and will play fine.

I know that probably sounds untrue, but it works - I've done it for years. Try it on a CD you don't care about first if you're worried about it.

Im currently looking for a used 2k11 in NYC...no luck yet, but Im looking forward to the switch a roo!!!
