i miss when games were games.today they seek any type of profit and less of what makes a game enjoyable.

Has anyone tried this yet? Care to provide a "review"?

I actually picked up a bag just for the heck of it and went to Doritos web site and entered my code. They then email you the code to enter in Madden 11. I entered it and it said congratulations this mode will be activated on November 11th or something like that so i guess for those that are interested it will be a few weeks.

Maybe I am using the wrong glasses, but I don't see alot of "3D" effects. The screenshots look cool when used with the 3D glasses, but the game's color just becomes washed out. Do you think it is because I am on an HDTV instead of a standard definition TV?

For 3-D effects to work, you will need a 3-D tv. Your obsolete Full-HD tv you bought 2 years ago won't work.

While you're out shopping for a 3-D tv, check out the HD wall projectors, which are 2d but will produce a much larger sceen size, generally for less price. You'll have to decide whether the 3-D tv is worth it...

I actually got the 3D mode to work this afternoon. This evening I no longer have the 3D option. I guess it was taken off. Interesting..

No not for this game. It uses the old technology so you just need a pair of those cheap glasses red/blue colors. On Nov 11th the 3D mode will be unlocked. the game is NOT in 3d right now.

Sounds like another gimmick frm EA unless they have a code to unlock a improved franchise mode " We don't believe you"

When I first saw the bags I thought Doritos brought back their 3D chips, which I enjoyed. So is this a DLC thing or is it unlockable from the original disk?

This is the old 3D technology based on anaglyph images (red and blue filters) which any TV can display, while modern 3D TVs are based on polarization of light.

Actually, both have been around along while. For some reason, TV's are actually putting the polarization tech in there TV's. I personally could care less. 3D with no glasses......that would be a cool feature, and is actually around the corner. Some are already shown off.

Its unlockable for current disk witht the code from Doritos
