before the patch I couldn't complete a single online franchise game. Since it came out, I'm 1 for 1 so far, so I'm happy...

I'm also 1 for 1 in online franchise games. Smooth as butter too. I'm on PS3 though so don't know about 360.

Couple people earlier in the thread said they couldn't open their franchise and another said his 3 user franchise didn't work either. I haven't downloaded it yet, so I want to make sure it doesn't break anything before I do.

In this video, around 3:50, Phil says there are over 900 QB vs. QB intros. I should just point out that this is actually impossible!

Ian just posted on his twitter that, "divisional matchups seem to work. others are generic..."

So, either Ian is lying that they didn't fix bug or this guy seriously over exaggerates and can't count. If it was just divisional comparison, there would be 48 intros, but I think there is a few others, so 60 would be more accurate than 900!!!!

Played an online franchise game after DL the patch.

No disconnect for me. I was thrilled. I Hope it is a sign that it really worked. I dropped from this league because of the constant DC's but was abel to get my team back post patch and give it a shot.

So far so good.

I started a new franchise last night (simmed first season) and tried to play the opening game (season 2). The Steelers, my opponent, had the proper depth chart but Rothelesberger wasn't playing, nor was he injured. Does anyone else see this kind of thing happening? I am fed up with Madden.

I haven't tried. To tell you the truth, I think I am giving up on Madden. I am strictly an offline franchise user and they haven't improved the mode for years. Meanwhile the EA NHL franchise gets better every year. It looks like I am going to trade the Madden in for MLB The Show - my Giants are in the World Series and I am inspired to try a new game.

I downloaded the patch tonight, same sliders and all. The last 2 games, I won my games too easily and was bored. I kept Peyton Manning to 97 yards passing on 15 minute quarters. he went 7 of 36 on passing. I've been seeing the generic qb intro thing for every game. Tonight, I had eagles vs my cowboys late in the season. In the intro, they talked about the Kolb/McNabb storyline with Romo and writing a new chapter in this rivalry. The game seemed to play a lot more like a chess match. I didn't score a single touchdown until the 4th quarter, knocking in 3 field goals the first 3 quarters, and was 24 to 9. I ended up beating Eagles 25 to 24 with a last second field goal at the end of regulation. The game played very nice, the players seemed to play harder, I seen more animations than I usually do, better tackling, etc. The game just seemed different. Placebo? Possibly, but the game was so much fun. I was sweating bullets by the end of the game. I finished with over 420 yards passing and 2 tds with Romo, but only rushed for 35 yards between 3 backs. Kolb went 21 of 37 296 yards for 3 tds and McCoy had 76 yards rushing. A well balanced game of NFL football. So far, the patch seemed to fix a few things behind the scenes, but idk. Maybe its just me.

My game keeps freezing when it shows the yard sticks. I deleted the data saved and the game data, and its still freezing. Any ideas?

Well to be fair Ian wasn't the one to say that. And many times things get said before a game is finished and doesn't make it in. I wish the storylines were actually followed though. On topic the uniforms are nice but would like more gameplay tweaks. Maybe have pro tak kick in more often. It seemed better last year when it was more common but thats just me.

No DC.

2-0 on no DC since the patch for online franchise. So far so good.
